00:27That's a big accident there. That is almost certainly going to be a red flag.

00:31There's bits of rectus cell barrier everywhere.

00:36That's a nasty one there. I hope both those drivers are okay.

00:39That was quite an impact there. Craig Reed got wide coming out of the chicane.

00:44And as he slowed, Jock Borthwick went straight into the back of him.

00:51They can't continue with two trucks and that debris everywhere on the outside of the chicane there.

01:04With Mark Taylor in the lead ahead of Nathan Smith.

01:20There's a battle between Simon Reid ahead of the 101 of John McGuinness with Neil Yates behind them.

01:34And they're coming down to the chicane where that incident happened.

01:36I can see a light flashing there in the background.

01:40So is the race continuing on?

01:45Yes, it looks like it. I'm certainly surprised at that.

01:48I thought the red flag would have gone out there.

01:51Simon Reid next through, then it's Martin Gibson, then Neil Yates.

01:58Terry Gibbon is next in the order ahead of Steve Thomas and Simon Faulkner.

02:04So maybe the incident is sufficiently off to one side there and the drivers are being able to continue.

02:11I'm certainly surprised at that.

02:14I thought that race was about to be stopped, but it would appear that Craig Reid and Jock Borthwick seem to be okay, which is the main thing.

02:26So Mark Taylor leads by three and a half seconds now over Nathan Smith.

02:30He's done the fastest lap of the race, Mark Taylor, 126.467.

02:34It's going to be quite a clear-up operation needed there.

02:44There's quite a bit of damage to the Recticel barriers in front of the Armco there coming out of the Roberts chicane.

03:35The final runner then is Graham Poole.

03:38He's stopped on the outside of the entry to the chicane onto the Melbourne Loop there with some sort of issue.

04:00It's the first of four races this weekend for the international truck GP.

04:09The driver's just being probably told to take it steady through the chicane there with that debris on the outside.

04:25Mark Taylor over 10 seconds up the road now in the 81 with his nearest pursuers gone.

04:31With Craig Reid, Jock Borthwick and Nathan Smith all out of the race.

04:54Behind Terry Gibbon I can see Simon Faulkner but I couldn't see Steve Thomas there.

05:04Bit of a lock up there from the 33.

05:08Steve Thomas has dropped back as well.

05:10His last lap was a 1.37.

05:13Best lap a 1.28.

05:14So he's losing time.

05:15Has he got a problem as well?

05:19Dropping like flies in the early stages of the international truck GP.

05:43John McGuinness on the kerb coming out of McLean's.

05:46Trying to chase down Simon Reid.

05:48This is the battle for second place.

05:51Terry Gibbon, the 37.

05:52A man from Humberside.

05:53Now on the tail of Neil Yates.

05:59And I think now the red flag is coming out.

06:04Yes, the race is being stopped.

06:05So that means that Mark Taylor, I assume the race is going to be declared.

06:28Because they just passed the halfway mark.

06:32And I assume that means that Mark Taylor will be your winner.

06:35But I have to say, I am quite surprised that race was not red flagged immediately when that accident happened.

06:50So Mark Taylor, presumably the result will be declared.

06:54And Mark Taylor will be the winner ahead of Simon Reid and John McGuinness.

06:57Well, there's the reason.

07:01Also, of course, Nathan Smith's truck stopped on the outside of the chicane.

07:05There's quite a bit of clearing up to do there.

07:07Those foam barriers everywhere.

07:10That's such a shame for Jock Borthwick.

07:13On his comeback to UK racing this weekend.

07:16Hopefully those trucks can be repaired for the second race later on for the International Trucker Grand Prix.

07:47And Jock Borthwick walloped straight into the back of him.

07:49He very nearly went over.

07:52That's a huge impact.

07:54And then straight into the barriers on the outside.

07:59How that truck did not end up on its side, I do not know.
