00:00Oh, they're barking, Tom. Where are they barking? Because sometimes you got to take bad baseball teams and you get that nice plus money. Where are you going today?
00:07We're going out to Kansas City where you said it was super hot and we're turning to the Chicago White Sox to come away with the win, plus 138.
00:15When we're looking at the pitching matchup, when it's all said and done, Burgett is okay. That's really what it comes down to.
00:21We're seeing a 4-6-1 extra from him and a 2-8-7 ERA. He is overperforming by a significant margin combined with what I said when we broke down this game about his Babbitt, which is sub-210 when the league average is up at 289.
00:35So he is due for some serious regression and with the 90 plus degree temperatures that we have, this game really does have a whole lot of variance from a hitting perspective.
00:43And frankly, if the White Sox sneak away with the win and they win this game 6-5, 6-4, they shouldn't shock anyone because the Royals aren't a good pitching staff overall.
00:52They're not a great bullpen. And the White Sox can get some runs on the board today, Donnie.
00:56I know they didn't for you yesterday, but I think they come away with the win today, plus 138.
01:01Yeah, I think yesterday, Tom, one of seven with runners in scoring position, eight runners left on the base, only scored two.
01:05You convert a couple of those there, you got your four to five runs that you need to possibly win a Major League Baseball game.
01:10My dog of the day, which is no longer a dog right now, we caught some steam in the 10 o'clock hour.
01:15It was a slight favorite. It was a slight underdog with Cincinnati at a plus 101 price.
01:19We now sit in the marketplace, Tom FanDuel, minus 126, DraftKings minus 125, BetMGM minus 125 as a favorite towards Cincinnati now.
01:27Quintana versus Abbott in this environment, and nines is a total.
01:31This is a team, the Milwaukee Brewers, that have won 14 straight games with a quality veteran pitcher this year on the mound,
01:37and they're now an underdog at this point.
01:39I took Cincinnati at that plus 101 price.
01:41I'm going to see if that big dog bites for us today.
01:43We've been having success on these.
01:45Let's see, Tom, if we have more success today and maybe a sweep.
01:48So the White Sox, yes, and the Cincinnati Reds are the dogs for us today, Tom.
01:54How are we feeling about that today, huh?
01:55How are we feeling?
01:56I'm feeling good.
01:57Again, I love the hitting environment, and, you know, the weather's equal for all pitchers.
02:02It's not like the Royals pitchers, just because they're the favorites,
02:05don't have to deal with the same 90 degrees and wind that the White Sox do.
02:09Sure, you can say that there are historically better hitters on the Royal side of things
02:13with a Bobby Witt and a Perez, Vinny Pease back in the line.
02:16We can say all that's true, but it's not like the Royals are some shut down pitching staff
02:21that we need to be like, oh, the White Sox are getting no runs today.
02:24By the way, I wonder what we see next time we have this powwow on a Sunday morning here.
02:29Who's going to be out of first place?
02:30Who's going to be in first place?
02:31Is Aaron Judge running away with the MVP at this point?
02:33Like, what do expectations have for this week?
02:35Because as we pointed out, Milwaukee and the Cubs got a five-game set coming this weekend.
02:40Is it panic where, oh, no, the Brewers can't get right?
02:43Or is it sayonara to wrap on the season for the Cubs?
02:47What do you, here's the question.
02:48What do you think the series goes?
02:49I think, is it like three, two Brewers, four, four, one Brewers?
02:53I think the Cubs get two.
02:55They split the double header and then they'll get one later in the series.
02:59It feels about right.
03:00I'll tell you, I would love, though, if one team just went five and O in this series.
03:03If it's the Brewers just to extend them to like a 20-game, you know, unbelievable streak.
03:08Or if it's the Cubs going like, yeah, we were down and out,
03:10but we just ate five games away directly with our counterpart here to try to close that gap.
03:15Because as you take a look and say where they sit in the standings,
03:18it's a nine-game lead for the Milwaukee Brewers with a five-game set.
03:21So if they lose that three to two, we'll take that every way, shape, and form.
03:25They don't want to lose games, but come on now.
03:26Only give them one game back because you head basically into the month of September.
03:29That certainly could work out.
03:30But everything's out there today, Tom.
03:32Home run props there.
03:33Pitching props.
03:34Sell me something.
03:35Underdog picks.
03:36It's how we get down.
03:37It's how we spend those two hours.
03:38And it's been awesome once again today.
03:41It has been.
03:41We got some great picks.
03:43Love the A's to come away with the win.
03:45Love the Dimebacks to come away with the win.
03:47Trust those teams out west to come away with the wins.
03:49Despite some subject pitching, I think those teams come away with it today.
