00:27But it was just impossible for us to recruit that way. So, getting width from wing backs
00:32and maybe only having one wide play, great. But then, as you're talking about there, right,
00:36so where's the creativity or where's the goals? Well, I want the threat to be from number nines
00:41then and down the middle. Why can't we change two on 60, 70 minutes? Why can't we have three
00:47on the pitch at the same time and really make the opposition defend? So, yeah.
00:53When your resources have stretched, it's like, what's going to help you have the biggest impact
01:02with the least money, if you like, or the least change? And for me, that is loading up on the
01:07middle of the pitch and getting players at the top end of the pitch with all different
01:13attributes who are going to make the opposition have to defend.
01:15In terms of frees versus loans, is it fair to say loans probably more likely now? Are there any free
01:20transfers you're looking at? Yeah, but listen, there's ways to do deals which we've done
01:25with our players where you're not putting a lot of money up front, you know? So,
01:31we'll look, I said before, we're working really, really hard and looking at every single scenario and
01:39there's still a long way to go, but I wanted them in last week, do you know what I mean? That's the
01:44way I feel about it, but I also know there's a long way to go.

01:52Money's not been pulled, has it, like a couple of weeks ago that you had that were set out at the
01:55start of the summer? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we just, yeah. So, we got together and had a plan at the end
02:01of last season, players, some names who we're going for, positions, and obviously as things change,
02:09the names have to change or you miss out or they'll go off the market, someone takes them out of your
02:17price range, you know what I mean? There's lots of reasons why you can't get players, but the numbers
02:21and the positions of players that I want haven't changed, not at all. Just for absolute clarity,
02:27there was money available was a few weeks ago that was to be spent and now isn't there.
02:32There's always money, but where's the money go? We've spent money on
02:35wages, on signings, we've spent money. The money's not changed, the money's not changed.
