00:00What has surprised you the most about Ben Johnson, the head coach?
00:05Yeah, so one, I knew the intelligence was very high.
00:12I knew from, you know, obviously playing them when he was calling it
00:17that from a scheme standpoint, he was very good.
00:23Gave me vibes of what we had in Kansas City.
00:26And he was able to get players in positions to be successful,
00:31but also to attack pressure points on the opposing defense.
00:36So I knew that that part was there.
00:38I had very little questions about that.
00:40I think anytime you're hiring someone, it's like,
00:42how are they in front of the room?
00:44How are they in stressful situations?
00:47What's the overall day-to-day operation look like in terms of motivating the guys
00:52and then staff?
00:54And he's knocked all of those out of the park.
00:56In front of the room, he's incredible.
00:59Very thoughtful in how he approaches the team.
01:01And the guys respond to it.
01:04The intensity has been high.
01:06I knew he was an intense guy, but it's sky high.
01:09And it's because he cares.
01:10The passion level is off the charts.
01:14And the guys respond to that really well, which has been really cool to see.
01:17And they trust him.
01:18We had that added practice.
01:20Everybody was talking about how physical it was.
01:22And I said, man, you know what?
01:26This tells me that this team trusts you because not a lot of teams are doing that anymore.
01:32Practices aren't that physical.
01:34But they believe in you.
01:35When you said, hey, we need to do this in order to take the next step,
01:38to be a physical football team that's going to allow us to win
01:41and also be resilient when we get into the season.
01:44And they didn't think twice about it.
01:47They did it.
01:47And that was a huge sign for me.
