00:00This is what I didn't get a chance to see, but I wanted to hear your opinion if you were watching, was Tommy's second shot at 17, being in the right side of the fairway with the right pin, with overhanging trees on the right, not being able to – he talked about it after with David, saying it was an awkward shot, a little bit of mud on the ball.
00:19It seemed like in that situation, you can't walk away making bogey, hitting that fairway.
00:26Even if you have mud on the golf ball, you've got to find a way to make that golf ball curve left or right and give yourself 30 feet, walk out with four at worst.
00:34I know the up and down was one he wants back, but you just can't make five there.
00:40There was a lot of times, I'm sure you heard, spent on the broadcast of the deliberation going into that shot, talking about the type of cut seven iron he was going to try to hit there, how he was going to try to, to your point, at least save par there.
00:56I think this is the story of so many of these Tommy Fleetwood Sundays, and as we get further on, I think the question I want to ask you is, how much of this are you chalking up to –
01:08I'm not calling him a choke artist, but giving the tournament away versus just getting outplayed by a lot of guys.
01:14It's got to be really tough to be stuck where you are making that bogey on 17.
01:18Meanwhile, watching your compatriot over there rip off four birdies in a row, and that's going to add a lot of pressure.
01:24In that instance, he really just did get outplayed.
01:27Well, you've got to give him credit for in the middle of the round, he studied the ship.
01:31It's kind of similar to what he did at the Travelers.
01:33He actually – he found some light to where it felt like he didn't just lay down and give up.
01:40He showed a lot of fight.
01:42He made four straight threes in the middle of his back nine.
01:45But you've got to find a way if you hit the fairway to make birdie at 16, and then what Justin Rose did.
01:52And then when you hit the fairway at 17, that's the hard part.
01:55And you have a wind direction that's favorable to that whole location.
01:58That's a shot that has to be pulled off.
02:04And standing in that fairway a couple different times today and seeing how aggressive players were playing, even with the tree problems that some guys did have.
02:14And sure, maybe the mud was a factor, but I still – that's the one you have to look back at and figure out, man, I've got to figure out a way to pull that shot off.
