00:51Anthony Reid has come up to second place
00:53And watch out for what's happening behind as everybody
00:56Some of those guys who had problems earlier on

01:02He's safely through the BMWs well up
01:04Of Justin Keane the green and white car
01:06And everybody's just about making it around through it
01:09And through Granville-Beds
01:10They feel that one of the protons was on the grass

01:14Yeah, disastrous start for Luke Hines
01:17But a great start for Anthony Reid and James Thompson
01:20He said he was going to be more forceful in this race
01:22And he showed that straight off the line
01:24The BMW got an excellent start
01:25We got blocked in
01:27And is now
01:27Oh no, that could turn out very nasty
01:29Yeah, we've got the BMW crashing
01:31Spinning into the straight
01:33And we've got another car
01:34The protons spinning on the straight
01:36As well as a result of that
01:37Further back
01:38And there it is

01:40And he got caught out
01:42In an incident of the starting
01:43With contact between Justin Keane and another
01:46Look at Turkington versus Chilton
01:48With Rob Huff on the inside there
01:50As they come around the hair fit

02:45Because Thompson making that little break

04:30Just what it's like to run with a car

04:34It ain't easy
04:35But that's the way the rules are
04:36And it certainly makes for exciting racing
04:38He's just got to keep his head down
04:40Trying to get the best results he can
04:41Meanwhile up the front

04:44Still very, very close
04:46Nothing between them at all
04:47Thompson, Reid and Turkington
04:49Very encouraging performance this
04:51For West Surrey Racing
04:52They've had their problems today
04:54But they've managed to work through them
04:56And they've sorted out Reid's car
04:58And there he is
04:59In a fighting second place
05:01Between those two works Vauxhalls
05:03But of course Muller picking up the points
05:05Each time out
05:06This is good news for Thompson though
05:08Because there's a car between himself
05:09And his rival in the points
05:11And Thompson's just been chipping away
05:12At Muller's lead in the championship
05:14Before this race
05:15It was down to only six points
05:17So if Thompson could stay in front
05:19And have a car between himself and Muller
05:20Well it would be that much closer
05:22By the end of this afternoon
05:24So Thompson actually won't be too worried
05:26About this at the moment
05:27As long as Reid
05:27Doesn't start pushing him too hard
05:30To take over the lead of the race
05:31No, absolutely
05:32They seem fairly content
05:33To just hold their speed
05:34And their positions at the moment
05:36I'm sure it'll close up later
05:38When the tyre wear becomes a factor
05:40Very hot here today
05:41It's causing a lot of teams problems
05:44With understeer
05:45And getting the balance of the car just right
05:46So I expect to see the pace of the cars

05:57Who had that tremendous tussle

06:01For fourth position in race number two

06:06So it's been a pretty good day so far for him

06:10Just having a slightly tighter line
06:12Out of Graham Hill Bend there
06:13Than both Rockshalls
06:15Muller follows him through
06:16And Reid careful not to leave a gap
06:19As they come up into Clearway's corner
06:21Get on the power early
06:23Building up to maximum speed
06:24And they're doing around
06:25Between 125 and 130 miles an hour
06:28As they come across the start finish line
06:30And head up towards
06:32The quick right-hander at Paddock Hill Bend
06:34Thompson still in charge
06:35But MacNeil still holding that fastest lap

06:38Is having a little look
06:39But not a real attack into Paddock
06:41Now we see that touring cars
06:43Are very good on the brakes
06:45Compared to their ETCC rivals
06:47So Huff is going to have to
06:48Force a mistake from Turkington

06:53A brilliant revelation this weekend
06:55Driving absolutely fantastically
06:56If he hadn't had his steering arm
06:58Bent by Anthony Reid in the second race
07:00I think he would have finished well up there
07:01To go alongside his podium in the first race
07:04But the first inning of a gap up the front
07:06With Thompson pulling out
07:07Just about five car lengths

07:11Who's now under serious pressure from Muller

07:19Just beginning to slide that little bit now

07:24Maybe just showing the first signs
