00:11day of winter and it is hot it is hot and windy like it is gonna be a really hot summer and our

00:19beautiful balcony garden has very unfortunately been neglected for two reasons one it's been

00:29winter obviously so everyone's balcony garden does suffer a little bit I think over winter and two we

00:37do have a 21 month old who kept us very occupied so the plants most days are lucky to even get

00:45watered so we are going to go to Bunnings today and get some new plants this is a bougainville that's

00:51just struggling to stay alive this is a pomegranate tree that I've never liked to be honest it's not

01:01a good choice for a balcony garden so I'm not sure if we'll replace it today or not and I've had a

01:06hack job at pruning it and I haven't done a very good job the shape of it's terrible this is pretty

01:12much dead this is a citrus unfortunately that little cactus is thriving the cactus is a very

01:18good choices with balcony gardens this is a flowering plant that unfortunately I think it's

01:25sort of one of those plants that have been a little bit seasonal so they sort of give you a lot of

01:30flowers for the first season but then they kind of die off this is a new citrus I was so depressed

01:36about the balcony garden a couple of months ago that we did replace one of the citruses that had pretty

01:41much died but look even even already it's not looking all that healthy so I think we might

01:47fertilize it but I love I have I have in back in the day before maybe we had a baby here to look

01:56after I had a thriving balcony garden I had so many flowers out here I had absolutely beautiful things

02:01so we're going to give it a revamp and we're going to head off to Bunnings and see what we can find

12:43So I don't want them to suffer

12:52And your Piper's pet grass is going to go in that planter actually

12:57Nothing really survives in that white planter so far

13:01And so I think maybe the grass might be a go
