Old Man Shoots Up BBQ

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about an old man who fired shots at a BBQ that was taking place outside of his residence on the Eastside of Detroit. He was upset that he music was too loud.

00:48racket yep they hate it at his detroit apartment where a barbecue was being hosted out back

00:55oh no so in the middle of the night 9 30 p.m okay okay yeah that's it i can't take it anymore

01:08what is it 9 30 oh my god

01:12he decided to take matters into his own hands oh yeah with a gun yep

01:19hand cannon a good samaritan in her 60s tackled a shooter who shot three residents over a noise

01:30complaint oh he did shoot people following a barbecue at an apartment on detroit's east side

01:37last night oh my this happened around 9 30 p.m at the sheridan place apartments on east jefferson

01:45the call came out that two males were shot officers came to the scene they found they actually had

01:54four victims oh wow one of the victims was shot

01:59he was the guy who had the issue with people who were behind the building barbecuing listening to

02:09loud music and having a good time so he either shot himself by mistake or someone pulled guns

02:15he there's guns at a barbecue i don't know if people know this yeah most barbecues have guns yeah

02:21yeah they were making some noise the man told them that they didn't calm down he was gonna go down

02:29and take care of them okay all right they did not turn down the music oh so he came down and started

02:37firing shots wow three people were wounded by his firing shots during that time when he was firing

02:46one of the individuals who was shot tackled him took him to the ground he dropped his weapon when a good

02:53samaritan picked it up and in self-defense fired and wounded him okay that lady shot him yes all four

03:05victims were transported to detroit receiving hospital for treatment all are in stable condition this

03:09morning the victims those young whippersnappers out there having a barbecue yeah uh they range in

03:16age from 64 to their late 70s oh what kind of barbecue was this this is not the barbecue i thought it was

03:24going to be this is old people outside just having a barbecue at 9 30 p.m i'm sure they were gonna wrap

03:31it up any second oh my god no i thought it was gonna be 21 year old kids the music was the electric

03:40slide oh my god turn it down yeah even they wanted it turned down yeah i did oh maybe that's it maybe

03:49he wasn't he was jealous pissed party without smelling barbecue and people having a good time and you're not

03:55that would drive you bananas listen every once in a while i'll smell someone smoking meats oh and i'm

04:00like who is it i just smell someone barbecuing anywhere and i'm like damn you is it damn you

04:07because it smells so good okay i don't need this

04:12it's gonna take so that good samaritan was a woman in her late 60s

04:17she retrieved the gun and she shot the shooter back in self-defense

04:28i don't know if this is the music though i don't think this is what we're looking for

08:25anyway they say the shooting that happened in detroit where the old guy shot up a bunch of people

08:31over their music being too loud at their backyard barbecue at 9 30 p.m they say it's so ridiculous

08:37in nature you can't even explain it we'd be upset about a 9 30 barbecue though listen we're in bed

08:42already yeah but he's not he doesn't have to get up at 3 a.m i was really upset when the people were

08:47playing jazz yeah you know they played jazz for an afternoon and i listen i mean i kept myself

08:54under control but i i definitely cleaned all of them

08:57got all of them rubbed down with the right kind of oil i'm blowing and rubbing over there

09:08let's clean that off there let's get that the jazz make sure this is yes yeah you know an afternoon

09:14of jazz it makes you check your sights you live in the suburbs you should expect to hear jazz i'm like

09:19checking is this yeah that looks pretty good that looks like it's dead dead nuts straight
