00:30on their way to Bawde Masinlok o Scarborough Shoal.
00:33The Bawde Masinlok is known for its rich marine ecosystem.
00:36It's located 144 nautical miles from the coast of Masinlok, Zambales and Laisudin, the Philippines' 200 nautical mile exclusive economic zone of EEZ
00:46in accordance with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the law of the Sierra Unclos.
00:52After 20 hours of sailing, we finally reach the southern part of Bawde Masinlok.
00:57Positioned directly in front of the BRP Dato Sumcad was China Coast Guard or CCG vessel 4305.
01:03According to our ship's captain, just before midnight, the said CCG vessel began trailing us.
01:09As our vessel approached, the CCG issued a radio challenge to the BRP Dato Sumcad,
01:15which we immediately responded to, asserting our right to conduct a routine maritime patrol in the area.
01:21Moments later, a warning appeared on the LED screen of the CCG vessel.
01:25Soon after, it activated its water cannon.
01:28For over an hour, the CCG vessel pursued the BRP Dato Sumcad, bombarding it with water.
01:34From inside the BRP Dato Sumcad, the powerful bursts from the CCG vessel's water cannon were clearly visible.
01:40Behind us, a Chinese militia vessel repeatedly attempted to approach our ship.
01:45In the distance, CCG vessel 3306 could also be seen plossing water at BRP Dato Bangkaya.
01:52Meanwhile, two other B-4 vessels, the BRP Dato Roma Penet and BRP Dato Balensosa,
01:58carried out a resupply mission to Filipino fisher folk in the western part of Bawde Masinlok.
