00:00The Philippine Air Force is ready to escort the Maritime Domain Awareness Flight.

00:05This is after the B-4 airplane was put in danger last week

00:10due to the dangerous maneuvering of the military helicopter of China in Scarborough Shoal.

00:16According to the Philippine Air Force spokesperson,

00:19Colonel Maria Consuelo Castillo,

00:21they are ready to send their assets to support civilians or military aircraft at any time.

00:28Meanwhile, the AFP is expected to continue its other project

00:34of US$336 million in security aid from the United States

00:40after it is exempted from the freeze-order administration of US President Donald Trump.

00:46This is a welcome development on our part and we are glad to continue.

00:50And it also signals basically our long-standing relationship with the US and the Philippines.

00:57There are already particular programs that higher headquarters has mapped out for this year

01:02and even in the years to come.

01:04This will include activities on sea, air and land

01:06and even our support systems, cyber and other areas.
