00:00Our main intention is to elevate the public relations communications industry in this country.

00:05As you are aware, behind every successful organisation managing crises,

00:10behind every successful organisation that has built a brand and image for the country,

00:16there is one communications person behind that particular responsibility.

00:20We have been building other people's brand, other people's image,

00:23elevating other people's industry, but our profession itself needs elevation.

00:27And this is going to be a major elevation to the industry.

00:30We are also expecting about at least 200 foreign delegates to participate.

00:35We have also allocated 100 places for students of higher learning institutions.

00:41We will host them, that means they don't pay, and they will participate in this conference as our guest.

00:47And we are working with public and private universities to identify the students who will be involved in these particular events.

00:53As far as the public relations industry is concerned, in fact, if you look at PRCA Malaysia and us,

00:59we represent quite a big number of public relations practitioners.

01:02We are putting all of us together, all the organisation.

01:04We do think, we think the numbers will go bigger, at least 1,000.

01:08With about more than 1,000 participants, I think the practitioners will be able to meet and mingle and network with industry experts.

01:15We've got some amazing speakers who are confirming their presence and support every day.

01:20And eventually, we will make more announcements in time to come with all the speakers who have confirmed

01:26that we'll be sharing their experiences during the conference.

01:29It's going to be a first time, three-day conference, and we are happy to know that

01:33Julia Mahamulia Sultan Kera, Sultan Mazrin, has consented to open the conference and to give a royal address as well.

01:40There will be a dialogue from the younger students of ASEAN.

01:44There will be a dialogue session about the future of communications in their countries.

01:47It will be moderated by us.

01:49And we are also expecting guests coming from Asian countries.

01:53And we have a few speakers coming from UK, and also from the United States of America, and also Africa.

01:59We've also, I'm so pleased to let you know, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK is also supporting and endorsing this conference,

02:09as well as the Institute of Public Relations Singapore.
