00:00Special Captain's Medication that I use to prevent that.
00:05Welcome on board. Hope you had a nice flight.
00:08This way, please.
00:10This way, please.
00:14This way, please.
00:15Very smooth.
00:16That was great, man.
00:24This is Interstellar Strike Team by the developers Existem,
00:28and it was released on the 10th of December, 2024.
00:31This game is like Terminator, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Doom,
00:36Guardians of the Galaxy, all rolled into one.
00:39Now, whilst you can have this game in solo and still have a good time,
00:43it really gets fun in multiplayer as it gets real chaotic.
00:48It's still in early access and it's very cheap,
00:50but there is basically a whole game here.
00:52About the game.
00:53There is a machine force killing everything in the galaxy
00:56and the future of mankind is in your hands.
00:59Start out from the spaceport,
01:00then take command of your own battleship or join someone else's.
01:04Choose a mission from Interception, Orbital Strike, Attack or Liberation.
01:09Fight on the ground, fight in the air, or take the fight to their ship.
01:12Or maybe you will be flying through an asteroid field looking for boxes
01:16or flying through narrow spaces like a scene right out of Star Wars.
01:20Levels and Size
01:21This game is huge, man.
01:23The spaceport is a decent size.
01:25Your battleship is a decent size with five hangers for ships,
01:28a drop pod, an engine room where you will need to carry out repairs,
01:32a medical bay where you spawn back in when you were killed,
01:35then upstairs is the control deck where you will pick missions
01:38and pilot the ship, control gun turrets.
01:40You can fly through space and have to take out boxes on an enemy ship
01:44before you can enter their ship to destroy it and fly out in time.
01:48Or go down one of the planets via a drop pod
01:51and take out the massive cannons that are shooting up at your battleships.
01:54Or defend an area in Starship Troopers style
01:57whilst waiting for important info to download onto a hard drive.
02:01Occasionally your missions might get interrupted by space pirates attacking your ship,
02:06so you will need to get out there and battle them
02:08unless it's too late and they have boarded your battleship via the cargo area,
02:12which in this case, you will need to fight them off.
02:15Maybe your mission might entail fighting off an army of 100 small fighter ships,
02:19or have to fly down to a cube and fly in between its canyons
02:23to destroy a certain amount of power boxes,
02:26or you might have to fly through an asteroid field looking for boxes.
02:29And then there's the giant Death Star-like planets that you might have to destroy.
02:33There are 12 sectors plus your home to visit.
02:35I'm not totally sure how that works as yet
02:38because I've always jumped onto someone else's battleship
02:40and let them choose missions and sectors.
02:42Then you can also return to the spaceport to see if you can get hired paid missions.
02:47Playable characters and vehicles.
02:49You can design your own character.
02:51You have a number of guns to choose from,
02:54repair tools, and a choice of seven ships.
02:56Though you start basic and you will need to buy better ships.
02:59Now all the ships have interactive cockpits.
03:02Lots of displays to look at, use the joysticks and throttles in the ship,
03:06or you can just use your actual controllers.
03:09Even when you fly down to the planet, you can request a vehicle to get around.
03:13I would also like to see though a hover bike added.
03:16Enemies.
03:16I would like to maybe see bosses pop up occasionally on missions.
03:20Not all the time, so it keeps it fresh and maybe even have a special reward for his death.
03:25But there are a number of enemies here, from two or three types of walking robots
03:29to mechs, tanks, ships, gun turrets, patrol ships with search beams.
03:35It'd be great to see some maybe smaller and faster type enemies on wheels,
03:39or enemies that pop up from under the ground if you reach a certain distance from them.
03:43It just offers a different way of how to deal with another enemy.
03:47Also some variation in the enemy ships would be great.
03:50Weapons.
03:50The battleship has five turrets on that will automatically shoot,
03:54or you can take control of one of them and switch between them.
03:57Then your small ship has guns and a few rockets on.
04:00Rockets do run out, but you can fly back to the main battleship to repair or to refill.
04:05Then hand weapons you have are from pistols, an SMG, machine gun and a sniper rifle.
04:11Then the grenade launcher and rocket launcher.
04:13There is only one choice in each apart from the pistols.
04:16Then there's a choice of two fixing tools and one drone.
04:19All the weapons and ship's weapons handle and fire superbly.
04:24Leveling up options.
04:25I don't fully understand the leveling up system just yet,
04:28despite getting in about 15 plus hours of playtime.
04:31But you can level up on yourself the vitality and stamina.
04:35Then buy attachments on some of your weapons.
04:37You can also upgrade your ship's weapons.
04:40Then every kill you make, you earn money and XP points.
04:44Your XP will rank you up.
04:46Also you can collect upgrade points.
04:47Then you can rank up in six different aspects, like number of missions,
04:52engines badge, flight time, turret time, collecting crystals, minutes in cockpit and minutes on planet.
05:00Working your way up from bronze, silver, gold and then platinum.
05:04The game has plenty to aim for.
05:06Customization options.
05:07You can fully customize your character from gender, face type, hairstyle, beard, skin color, hair color and suit color.
05:16Then you can customize the color of your ship in two colors, picking from a choice of about eight colors.
05:21You can also customize your weapon color, but you have to buy those.
05:25Mechanics.
05:26Controlling the turrets can be a ping.
05:28They need to add a feature that when one player is controlling the turret, the other gets locked out from it.
05:34I'd also like it if you could control the turrets via your own controllers.
05:38Otherwise, everything works great.
05:41I had no issues with crashing or no bugs.
05:44Controls.
05:45Controls are very simple and easy to learn.
05:47I find using my actual controller sticks easier than the ship's in-game sticks, though.
05:52Especially noticeable when using the battleship's cannons.
05:55You can only use the in-game sticks and I would always struggle to make the cannon move up or down.
06:01Online playability.
06:02A lot of people I played with here are coming from the Guardians frontline community.
06:07Which, if you have seen my review on that game, you will know I rate it to have the best online community.
06:13This game excels in multiplayer.
06:15Rewards come in faster when there's a team of you.
06:18The enemies get tougher and there's more of them.
06:21Game menus.
06:22There are a lot of menus in this game.
06:24Menus are everywhere.
06:26But you have a tablet that you can reach from over your shoulder and a wristwatch which you can access the game's options from.
06:32As well as see your stats and maps, etc.
06:34My thoughts.
06:35I honestly can't recommend this game enough.
06:38It's got potential to be the Grand Theft Auto of space.
06:41As I first got into the game, I was a little unsure about it.
06:45I tried a few solar missions to try and get used to it and thought, yeah, it's okay.
06:49But then I jumped into multiplayer.
06:51And when you jump in with a good crew or some of your friends, this is where the game really begins to shine.
06:57The more I played, the more the game was giving me.
07:00Now, What is Sheer is fantastic and there is quite a lot.
07:03But I would like to see at least another 5 to 10 different style missions.
07:08And then maybe some more variation missions to keep being added.
07:12It would be great if there were features to this game where, like Guardians Frontline, if players could build levels themselves.
07:19Then in that way, there is always somewhere new to explore.
07:22I'd like to see more varied enemies also.
07:24Again, What Sheer is just brilliant.
07:26But this game is so good, it deserves more.
07:29A couple of things that some players mentioned, and I agree, was for the captain to have a kick button on his tablet.
07:35Currently, you can only kick someone from your team if you fly back to the main spaceport.
07:40Then also for the small starships to have HUD displays on the actual window shields rather than the radars on your panel.
07:47And then finally to have a list of players in your screen to the left with mic symbols so you can actually see who is talking at that time.
07:55Anyway, I could probably talk about this game for hours.
07:59But honestly, guys, just jump into it and find out for yourself.
08:02Especially now, as while time of doing this review, it's only about £6 and I think this game is easily worth £15-20.
08:12So now, touch that like button and then show your support for my channel by hitting that subscribe button.
08:17Thanks guys, and happy gaming.
