04:26How is the investigation moving forward?
04:30Well, yes, this investigation that was launched by the Selangana State Police
04:35was registered FIRs following which the enforcement directorate had taken up this case
04:41and investigating, in which Rana Dagupati, Prakash Raj, Manchu Lakshmi, and Vijay Devarkanda
04:48are accused, are said to be, you know, questioned in this particular case, and also other 29 influencers
04:55from the YouTubers and several other social media personalities have been summoned by the ED.
05:01Now, here, what we are learning is that on July 23rd, you know, Rana Dagupati had to appear,
05:07but that was rescheduled, and Manchu Lakshmi also, on August 13th, she is going to appear before the ED.
05:12Now, here, there are allegations that they have promoted these illegal betting apps.
05:18The apps have used these, you know, promotions on the faces of these celebrities,
05:23following which the case has been registered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act,
05:27and further investigation into this particular case is ongoing.
05:30Now, here, today, Vijay Devarkanda had appeared before the ED regarding this betting app case,
05:37and the details that he is providing is all the information and the statements linked to this particular investigation,
05:44his involvement into it, the illegal gambling or the funds generated through this illegal gambling
05:49is what is being suspected.
05:51So, all these angles are being investigated by the ED.
05:55Now, here, what we are learning is that the skill-based gaming platform is legally permitted in certain regions,
06:02but certain illegal platforms have also taken use of these celebrities,
06:06which has led to the investigation into the matter, and now the ED is investigating.
