00:00Emily and Ruth in the feeding team have just been really really great and just said it's
00:11an open door policy and anytime you need anything to give them a call so I felt really well supported
00:16and throughout the whole journey and I'm hoping to continue on for a few more months yet.
00:21Breastfeeding is about so much more than food it's about bonding with your baby helping your
00:26baby feel safe and it's a huge source of comfort for all babies. Ruth and I provide a specialist
00:32infant feeding support service in the early days until your health visiting team takes over
00:36and community midwives also provide great support once mums go home. The day they were born the
00:42midwives of the labour ward helped them latch on then the infant feeding team came to see me on the
00:48ward as well to help with that. Once I was discharged from the hospital they followed me up at home.
00:52That was invaluable for me really because and I was especially with the twins anxious about you
00:58know going home and feeding them on my own and making sure they were they were getting enough
01:02having someone specific to ask who's the specialist in it was was brilliant. I think the most important
01:07thing is to be kind to yourself and and you know have a think about suppose what what you want and
01:14what's the best thing to do for for you and your babies and your family.
