11:24these monstrous gods had real style and panache and earned their places as legends of the Silver Screen.
11:31And your look needs to be just as epic.

16:11My inspiration for my drag, Kaiju, is an insect queen.
16:15She's so beautiful.
16:16She lures you in with her beauty, and then you're dead.
16:21I think this is very quintessential Blackberry with all of, like, the fun fur.
16:26Growing up, I was really into, like, puppetry.
16:28So, this is kind of, like, my childhood all-in-one look.
16:32So, growing up, my family was really religious, and one day I wanted to become a ventriloquist.
16:38So, my parents took me to a puppet store, and I bought a fuck-ton of puppets.
16:43And then they decided that we should just make our own puppet team.
16:47And we would travel across the country to different churches and put on these puppet shows.
16:52My Kaiju, it's inspired mostly by flesh, but I wanted to approach it in a really crafty way.
17:03I'm using all the materials that everyone is sick of.
17:07I use the materials that I can, and I think drag depends a lot about using the best resource around you.
17:14And those materials say a lot about you and say a lot about your background and how you can turn shit, garbage, trash into gold.
17:25My inspiration this week is a poisonous centipede.
17:28I have egg glaze, and my color scheme is yellow and red.
17:33The costume is made out of vinyl, the whole thing.
17:36Before I sew, I like to test it out with, like, a little plastic bag.
17:40I like to cut out different designs, and I just try to make sure to see, like, where I want to add the black at.
17:46And so, I go through it and just, like, try different shapes and cut them like that.
17:52A lot of people here think that I can't be a monster, but this challenge, I want to show them how much of a monster I am.
17:59And we'll see.

23:03Tonight, we've challenged our big five to use their drag skills to conceptualize and
23:08create drag kaiju versions of themselves, and to model their new looks here on our main
23:13stage in our miniature city.
23:15From Godzilla to Mothra, Mechagodzilla, Rodan, and Ghidorah, the kaiju monsters of classic
23:22cinema and comic books were big, bad, and terrifying.
23:26And tonight, we want our competitors to show us all that and more with their new creations.
23:33We feel some of our competing stars have lacked the horror and monstrosity required to become
23:37our next drag super monster.
23:39So tonight will be their final chance to show us that they have what it takes to remain in
23:43the competition.

23:49there is to know about cinematic monsters and colossal comic books.

32:24She literally sacrificed the ability to move in order to give us that amazing, fantastic,

32:31We're deciding who's going to make it to the top three and laying on the stage is not

32:38If I really wanted to prove to them that I am their performing super monster, I would
32:43just lay on the ground trapped like a slug who got hit with a bunch of salt.

32:52And I unfortunately have to compare it to Fantasia's snake tail from last week.

33:16You've got to give us a little bit of horror, and we said specifically, this challenge,
33:20I want to see monsters, I want to see scary, and she did not give us that.
33:24She gave us soft and pretty.
33:26To kind of be objective about the look, though, was it well done?
33:29Absolutely.
33:30Did it fulfill the challenge of something bestial and scary?
33:33Absolutely not.
33:34It wasn't scary, but it was the challenge.
33:37We asked her to make a drag kaiju.
33:40Maybe just not in the exact flavor we wanted it, which is more scary.
33:44It's going to be hard to decide because Blackberry has been infallible in the competition so

33:54What did you think of Fantasia's kaiju?
33:56It looked like a new interpretation of a kaiju.
33:58I mean, yeah, it was sort of spandexy and superhero-y and bright colors, but that didn't
34:03bother me so much.
34:04My issue with her look was from the neck up.
34:07She looked more like a wrestler or like a super villain.
34:10I kept thinking, this is an enemy that the tick would fight.

34:17When we were calling for monsters and beasts and three-toed, big-tailed, fire-breathing
34:22realness, I didn't expect to see that kind of Ronald McDonald color scheme.

34:33If there's one person's opinion who I really would respect on kaiju and comic book creatures,

34:48judges booth and see what they think and see if they can't help us decide who's going to
34:52make it to the top.

36:42We wanted beasts, and I can appreciate a different artistic interpretation.

36:50Even extended to the performance, the only kaiju that didn't destroy the city.
36:56It was not kaiju chaotic, it was kaiju caressing of the buildings.

37:01I figured everyone would be going for, like, stereotypical monster.
37:04So I was going for something that was so beautiful that it's deadly.

37:13and you really represented the level of drag that you have the entire season.

37:22but I think it's too much glamour for a kaiju,
37:25and he feels more like a humanite.

37:35and I just think that is pretty iconic behavior.
