08:07This week's floor show is a big one as we are joined by the creators of our favorite horror video game, Dead by Daylight, for our very first Dead by Daylight challenge.
08:18For this week's challenge, you must conceptualize and create a character fit for our new fictional Dead by Daylight expansion, cryptids and urban myths.
08:31That is fucking cool.
08:34All over the world, small towns and cities have their own unique stories about creatures that terrorize the locals.
08:41From Bigfoot, to the Mothman, to the Jersey Devil, and whatever a boar was supposed to be in Titans.
08:47We want you to draw inspiration from an established cryptid or urban myth and recreate their look.
08:53That's fucking cool!
08:55Remember, this is an official Dead by Daylight challenge, so your creature must also have the look, feel, and texture of a killer that would actually fit within the game.
09:05And they must also have their own signature kill move.
09:12Whoever has the highest score by the end of this game will have their look created and featured as a wearable in-game outfit within Dead by Daylight.

16:03My inspiration in my cryptid this week
16:04is the winter wendigo.
16:05I wanted to do something icy with bones and a lotta blood,
16:09because I know those killers are covered in blood.
16:12If I won this challenge,
16:13that would mean so, so much to me.
16:15I'm such a huge fan of Dead by Daylight,
16:18This would really like be a full circle moment for me.
16:22Being able to see myself in the game
16:25that I've been playing for years would be so fucking cool.
16:28So I'm really, really trying to win
16:31this floor show specifically.
16:33My inspiration this week is the Piasaw Bird.
16:36It is a local indigenous American folklore in Illinois.
16:40I'm using a heat gun to warm the plastic around these bones
16:45to create this kind of weathered, rotting flesh look.
16:49I'm still going to keep it high drag.
16:51I am wearing heels, thank you very much,
16:54but I'm going to be adding claws to those heels.
16:56So I'm going to have real big talons on them.
16:59I'm going to have nail gloves,
17:00but the nails are going to be giant talons.
17:03So I'm just going to elevate everything.

17:09For my cryptid look this week,
17:12I am doing The Mud Mermaid from Illinois.
17:16All I know is they live in the mud.
17:19They're like half human, half reptilian,
17:22and they have giant long claws that kill people,
17:25and they live in the swamps.
17:28Making it to top three for me would honestly mean a lot.
17:32Like this is something I want so fucking bad.

20:13I feel like it's something that I don't really talk about
20:15because I don't know a lot about.

22:58that would fit into the world of Dead by Daylight.
23:02Specifically, they must create looks
23:04that are based on our fantasy Dead by Daylight expansion pack
23:07titled Urban Myths.
23:09So the looks must be inspired by existing creatures
23:12of urban myths and local legends.
23:15I must remind you that all four of our remaining competitors
23:18are operating on borrowed time.
23:21Because by the end of the night, one of them will be cut
23:23and will not be moving on to the grand finale.

30:11Tonight, traditionally, we would be doing our Last Supper reunion.
30:15But I think until the fans can be a little less mean to the competitors, we're going to hold
30:21off on that for a while.
30:22That might sound like, you know, the fans are so rabid that I don't feel like the competitors
30:30will come on TV and talk about how they really think and confront each other.
30:35But I felt like we're going to be right back.
30:43I felt like we've had such a hard time narrowing the top four down to the top three that I thought an additional challenge would absolutely force us into having to make the decision.
30:46It will help us decide the top three because the finale is going to be a three-player game.
30:51So let's talk about what we saw tonight.
30:53Why don't we talk about Ante, the Pia-saw.
30:56The Pia-saw.
30:57I don't know if I'm saying that correctly.

31:00I mean, what did you think about her Pia-saurus?
31:03Her Pia-saurus, well, Ante's Pia-saurus Rex was kind of amazing.
31:07Ante's kill move was innovative because I could see it in the game flying up and slamming down on someone like that.
31:13My one criticism would be, I think she looked a little too clean for the Dead by Daylight world.
31:20I do want to give her some credit where credit is due because the look was hugely imaginative.
31:25What did you think about Yuri?
31:26I actually really liked the look, and I do think she performed the hell out of that character.
31:32No, I actually liked Yuri's kill move, although I think it infringed on our copyright a little bit.

31:39The nails and the bite, like, where have we seen that before?

31:43I'm torn on Yuri because she's been rising in power as we get towards the end of the competition.
31:50But how do I reward that versus people that have been showing up the entire time?
31:55That is the conundrum when it comes to Yuri because we reward people that can be consistent
32:00and have stamped looks and great branding and reinterpret our challenges and do it well.
32:05But we also like to celebrate people that are willing to grow and change and transform.
32:11And I think no one has grown more than Yuri this season.

32:16Why don't we talk about Grey Matter?
32:17I think Grey Matter's look tonight was fantastic.
32:19I did think it was a little small.
32:21Now, obviously, from the waist down, it wasn't.
32:23She had the full BBL, hand-leg, faunus fantasy.
32:28I did like the juxtaposition between, like, the—
32:31I'm going to say that again.
32:32I love the juxtaposition—
32:34I love the juxtaposition of the furry—

32:47Okay. I actually loved Grey's look.
32:50There was a detail on the weapon where that skull mounted in the staff had the same brain treatment

32:56And I love those signature details.

33:00I thought her winter wendigo was very sexy.
33:05The skin and the fur and the bones and the blood.
33:07Like, I thought it was really successful.
33:09She really looked like she belonged in Dead by Daylight.
33:12Like, 100%, I could see this killer stalking people through the woods.
33:17And her weapon had that secret reveal where it became two,
33:20which I thought was a deadly combo.
33:22All of her performances have an element of filth.
33:24Even thinking back to when she was Art the Clown,
33:27and she turned around, and she ripped off her underwear,
33:29and she had, like, that dirty ass and everything happening.

35:26and we're going to start with Yuri.
35:28This is so gorgeously haunting and just so beautiful.
35:33I want to be you right now so much.

35:37Everything is so correct,
35:38and I think it's so interesting
35:40to choose a marine creature as a killer.
35:43It's so out of the box.
35:46I think this character has some really cool potential
35:50for interesting animations to be put into the game.
35:53It's got beauty and then horror,
35:55which is a really fun mix.
35:57It would work well as a killer in Dead by Daylight.
36:01Probably the strongest thing about this was your performance.
36:05Like, you performed the hell out of this character.
36:08All of the physicality, the death move,
36:10like, all the facial expressions.
36:11I thought it was wonderful.
