00:00Hello and welcome to this Jane's Weather Update. We have a feed of tropical moisture coming in
00:05from the Indian Ocean. You can see it in this juicy northwest cloud band, starting to see a
00:10bit of rain in that. Where this one goes, as in where it meets up with low pressure, is who is
00:15going to see the significant rain for that. And I'll give you a sneak peek, it is Queensland and
00:20northern New South Wales along with the coast in through there. Otherwise, we have a cold front
00:24that is moving across the southeast, not delivering much because there's no connection to that
00:28tropical moisture. Otherwise, high pressure is going to move in into the southwest across the
00:33weekend. We have our next big cold front move through. So let's watch that in action day by day.
00:38Heading into Thursday is where we'll start, where we've got our moisture building over the interior
00:43there. High pressure is down in through here by the end of the day. We've got some stream showers
00:47in onshore winds returning to the east coast there. So this is the main one to keep an eye on.
00:52As we move into Friday, high pressure is over the southeast. So here's that rain developing in
00:57Queensland and northern New South Wales. We're starting to see some feeds coming into the west.
01:02Tropical moisture meeting up with low pressure. So that's going to be another big one. But as we move
01:06into Saturday, here's the main event here. Off the coast is where the heaviest falls are likely to be,
01:12but there is the risk that they will move inland. It's these parts here that are most in danger,
01:17heading inland into these parts here. So that's a big day for southeast Queensland up into the central parts
01:22too. Over on the other side of the country, here's our feed of moisture moving into low pressure.
01:28There's the cold front by the end of the day and our stream showers for Sydney. So another wet weekend
01:33in through there. Having a look at Sunday, that's when that moves inland here. It starts to move away
01:38from the coast there. Now this one, is it time for the southeast to see any of that? Let's watch that.
01:44Let's watch it slightly die as it moves across. So here we have on Monday, then into Tuesday, then into next
01:50Wednesday as that moves through. So there's that Wednesday as it comes in. So less falls as it moves
01:56across the southeast, but still a little bit better than what the cold front that is currently moving
02:00through at the middle of this week is delivering. The totals on this, we may get some big falls in
02:05through here, 100 to 150. Locally a lot heavier depending where that really sets up on the coast.
02:11In the southwest, 25 to 50 millimetres. So a nice fall as that moves across during the weekend.
02:17Here, 10 to 15, but really it's 5 to 10 across a big part of the southeast in through there
02:22and into Tasmania as well. Always the west, seeing more of that wet weather.
02:26That's it from me. Head to Farm Online Weather for the latest.
