00:00When you add that to the recent tariff increases and the tougher visa renewal process, you're looking at a situation where regular business travel, family visits, even basic tourism becomes much more difficult.
00:15For many of our SMEs who rely on the U.S. trade and partnership, this could also be a setback. It's not just businesses either. This could affect family ties, tourism, and cultural exchanges, things that have always helped strengthen our region's relationship with the U.S.
00:37There's also the ripple effect on the airline industry. If fewer people could afford to travel, of course, airline flying between these countries could start seeing a reduction in passengers or probably losses.
00:51That could mean fewer flights, higher ticket prices for those who go, and even a shift to alternate routes through other countries just to be viable.
00:59As a chamber, we are staying focused and ensuring that our members, especially SMEs, aren't locked out of the opportunities because of policies like this.
