A shipment of American weapons is stolen in the Philippines. An American named Hawkins tries to find the weapons. Hawkins ends up dead. Chicago policeman Bob Malone (Fred Willimason) is called in to investigate. Along with Interpol agent Greg Duncan, Malone travels the streets of Manila, tracking down leads. Criminals always seem to know where Duncan and Malone will be, which leads them to suspect a traitor in their midst.

00:06:38He's out of range.
00:06:40Let's get back to base.
00:06:47Let's go.
00:06:51Oh.
00:06:53Yeah.
00:06:55Oh.
00:07:28Who is it?
00:07:36It's me, Charlie.
00:07:39Open up, Sione.
00:07:40Hello, darling.
00:07:42Charlie, what happened to you?
00:07:45Charlie, for God's sake, what happened to you?
00:07:58Charlie, for God's sake, what happened to you?
00:08:28Is the boss in a good mood this morning?
00:08:32Yeah, he's already in there waiting for you.
00:08:35Well, let's get it over with, huh?
00:08:37Okay.
00:08:41Ah, here he is.
00:08:42Lieutenant Gregory Duncan.
00:08:44I'd like you to meet Mr. Lawrence Brennan of the State Department
00:08:47and Mr. Jackson of the CIA.
00:08:50Greg, here's the agent I've been telling you about.
00:08:52Captain Felix has spoken very highly of you.
00:08:55Well, the boss has a tendency to exaggerate.
00:08:57Have a seat.
00:09:00As you probably know, Charlie Hoskins was recently found dead in a local river.
00:09:06His body was riddled with bullets.
00:09:09Unfortunately, he was stripped of any identification
00:09:12or whatever papers he might have been carrying.
00:09:14Yeah, I was sorry to hear about that.
00:09:16Unfortunately, I didn't get to know the man very well.
00:09:18He, uh, wasn't here very long.
00:09:21Well, Agent Hoskins was working on a very sensitive case for the government.
00:09:25He had evidently come up with some pretty hard information.
00:09:29They killed him before he could pass any of it back to us.
00:09:32The CIA has an undercover program in which we are supplying military aid
00:09:37to various revolutionary groups fighting for democracy all over the world.
00:09:42Unfortunately, one of these shipments,
00:09:44it includes 20 land missiles and other conventional weapons,
00:09:48has disappeared.
00:09:50Shortly before it was scheduled to leave one of our bases here in the Philippines.
00:09:54You suspect anyone in particular?
00:09:55No, but five days ago, the State Department received
00:09:59an ultimatum from an unknown group which claims to have the supplies.
00:10:04Either the government deposits 50 million dollars
00:10:07in a numbered account in a Swiss bank within 20 days,
00:10:10or the well-documented news goes to the world press.
00:10:15Such a scandal would jeopardize not only East-West relations,
00:10:18but also the Geneva's stark negotiations on disarmament
00:10:21and reduction of strategic nuclear weapons.
00:10:25I think you get the idea, Lieutenant.
00:10:26In short, it's absolutely imperative
00:10:29that you find out where these weapons are being kept
00:10:32and that you destroy them, together with all documentation.
00:10:36We have 15 days left in which to do so.
00:10:3915 days?
00:10:40This is a full report on what we know on the case so far.
00:10:44Study it well.
00:10:46Unfortunately, we can't officially back you up at any time, so...
00:10:49No, I understand it completely, sir.
00:10:51A CIA agent, an expert on computers and modern warfare,
00:10:54will be assigned to you.
00:10:56And should you need another collaborator,
00:10:59you must choose someone from the people you trust outside Interpol.
00:11:06I have just the man in mind.
00:11:07This is WXKV in Chicago, continuing our show of sound.
00:11:21What's the word here?
00:11:23More fear.
00:11:24Don't talk about it.
00:11:25Just don't get it.
00:11:26You, come on.
00:11:27You want to leave the musketeer?
00:11:45What the fuck do you think you're doing?
00:11:49Lane?
00:11:50Lane!
00:11:51Come on, Lane.
00:11:52Go grab some beer.
00:11:53Don't fuck around.
00:11:53Okay.
00:12:09Listen.
00:12:10Listen.
00:12:11That's what you're looking for.
00:12:12No stuff.
00:12:12Hey, grab it.
00:12:13Forget that shit and start filling the basket.
00:12:16Four, two, five.
00:12:18Get all of them.
00:12:19Yeah, get all of them.
00:12:20Everybody needs to hold up.
00:12:37Nobody moves.
00:12:38Hands up!
00:12:41The first one that moves is dead.
00:12:46And that means you, big guy!
00:12:58You think you can play smartass with me?
00:13:02You're making a big fucking mistake!
00:13:05I think you're the one that's making a mistake, pal.
00:13:10She's already called the cops.
00:13:12They're on their way here right now.
00:13:13Cops?
00:13:16How the fuck is she going to do that?
00:13:17There's a button under the counter on the floor.
00:13:21There is no button under the counter!
00:13:26Your problem.
00:13:28Not mine.
00:13:29Check it out.
00:13:29Shit!
00:13:55Billy, please me, you son of a bitch!
00:14:18Here I come, you bastard!
00:14:25You're going to spray your brains all over this place!
00:14:55You may have the gun, sir.
00:15:14All right, get up, punk.
00:15:20Get up!
00:15:22Let's go.
00:15:25Let's go.
00:15:55Bob, I doubt if you recognize the voice, but I'm sure you'll recognize the name.
00:16:10Duncan. Greg Duncan.
00:16:13That's right, Harry's little boy is all grown up.
00:16:15Seems like only yesterday that you and Dad were sitting around the table exchanging war stories.
00:16:20God, it's hard to believe it's been almost 25 years now.
00:16:23Three years ago, I was assigned to Interpol and just recently was brought in on a very delicate top secret case,
00:16:29the details of which I can't go into on this tape.
00:16:32All I can say is that the case has taken some very dangerous turns and I'm about out of leads.
00:16:37I hate to use my father's relationship with you to persuade you, but I remember him saying over and over again,
00:16:43if you ever need help, son, don't be afraid to call on Bob Malone.
00:16:47Goddamn head, Malone.
00:16:50You ain't getting a day's vacation out of me.
00:16:54What the fuck do you think this is, anyway?
00:16:57You're being a copy and a part-time summer job.
00:17:00Come on, Merton.
00:17:02I wouldn't ask for it if I didn't have a good reason.
00:17:04I don't give a damn about your reasons.
00:17:07You listen to me, Malone.
00:17:08In this district, I'm the boss.
00:17:10I'm the one who'll decide what's coming to you and what ain't coming to you.
00:17:15So bear with it.
00:17:16You ain't getting no kind of lead from me.
00:17:19Not now, nor in the near future.
00:17:23How many times do I have to tell you that I don't want to be disturbed?
00:17:28What?
00:17:29Who the hell is this, anyway?
00:17:32Oh, oh, uh, governor.
00:17:33Excuse me, sir.
00:17:36Uh, I was talking on my other line, sir.
00:17:39I didn't know it was you.
00:17:42Why, he's sitting right here in front of me now, sir.
00:17:46Certainly, sir.
00:17:47You can consider it already done.
00:17:49I'm always at your service, governor.
00:17:52Thank you, sir.
00:17:54You have a nice day, too, sir.
00:18:01Mr. Governor.
00:18:02Really?
00:18:05You are expected over at the mayor's office on the double.
00:18:09There's a couple guys there from the CIA.

00:18:16So starting this moment,
00:18:19you are on vacation for an indefinite period of time.
00:18:24Hey, well, thanks, boss.
00:18:26It's not like you said that, uh, damn you, Malone.
00:18:28Get off my back
00:18:30and get the hell out of my office.

00:23:40A miniature fan with the name of a nightclub on it.
00:23:44Could mean something.
00:23:46Well, one thing it means is that he spends a lot of time there.
00:23:52Fan club.

00:24:37Since we've got to work together, let's try to be friends.
00:24:39Let's start by calling each other by our first place.
00:24:41My name is Bob.

00:25:42Come back soon, alone.

00:25:49I think she's hiding something.
00:25:51Not much from where I was standing.
00:26:03What did they want?
00:26:25They were asking about Charlie.
00:26:27And what'd you tell them?

00:28:46See you in the morning for breakfast.
00:28:48Okay. Good night.
00:28:50Night, Trace.

00:28:54All right, bud.
00:28:59Tomorrow's another day.
00:29:00You got it.
00:29:07What the hell do you think you're doing?
00:29:12My room.
00:29:14Looks like the connecting doors are broken.
00:29:17Well, thanks for the information.
00:29:19Now would you leave?
00:29:21No problem.
00:29:22Aim alone.
00:29:23The key?
00:29:25There is no key.
00:29:26I told you the doors are broken.
00:29:28Well, I'm not taking any chances.
00:29:33See this?
00:29:34This gadget can detect any presence at the door.
00:29:37Wonderful.
00:29:38Now I don't have to worry about you coming to my room.
00:29:40Have a good sleep.
00:29:41Oh, my God.
00:29:43It is so nice.
00:29:47Mmm.
00:29:48You really should eat.
00:29:49These pancakes are delicious.
00:29:50No, thanks.
00:29:51Lost my appetite.
00:29:54You two are getting along great this morning.
00:29:57So, if you guys will excuse me, I have to go to the airport.
00:30:00I, uh, had the CIA send me something that will come in handy on the job.
00:30:04Really?
00:30:06We're leaving, too.
00:30:07We're going to the port.
00:30:08Got a tip about a witness who saw what happened the night of the robbery.
00:30:12Sure?
00:30:13Sure.
00:30:14Sure.
00:30:15Oh, my God.
00:30:45Lieutenant Duncan Interpol, we understand you, who may have witnessed a robbery here the other night.
00:30:54Yeah, that's right. It was nine nights ago. It was a German ship. They were unloading wooden crates.
00:31:02They were not stevedores, for sure. As far as I'm concerned, they were thieves.
00:31:08They put the cargo in a handcuff, took them all away.
00:31:14Did you happen to see where they took them?
00:31:16Of course. It surprised me they made straight for it. They took them into the whole warehouse.
00:31:23Where is this warehouse?
00:31:25Right there.
00:31:26Hey, how you doing today?
00:31:39Mike, we're from Industrial Accident Insurance. Came to check out your security conditions.
00:31:44You've got authorization?
00:31:47Look, pal, this is just a fast routine checkup, okay?
00:31:49But if you insist, I'll come back here with a search warrant and do a thorough job.
00:31:53So thorough, you better hope you're wearing underwear.
00:31:55I know you don't want us to do that, will you mind?
00:31:57Okay. Okay. Go right ahead. Look anywhere you like. I'll show you around.
00:32:03See, this guy's forest with his own half of manure.
00:32:16Sir Malcolm Forrest. Used to be the British ambassador to the Philippines.
00:32:23Now he's one of the richest men in the country.
00:32:25So what kind of merchandise do you handle here?
00:32:28Oh, wood pulp, farm machinery.
00:32:30Just about everything. Must be canned food, though.
00:32:39This would be a little hard to digest, wouldn't it?
00:32:44Get that! Get that!
00:32:53Go!
00:32:53Oh, my God!
00:33:19Oh, my God!
00:33:21Oh, my God!
00:33:23Talk to me, fat ass!
00:33:41You're not too talkative, huh?
00:33:44I'll make you talk.
00:33:45Take it easy. Take it easy.
00:33:46Don't shoot me. I'll tell you what you want to do.
00:33:49Anything. Everything.
00:33:50Oh, my God.
00:33:51Oh, my God.
00:33:53No, no, no. It's Jackson. It's with the CIA.
00:33:57You didn't have to do that.
00:33:58He was about to tell us something.
00:34:03He was about to shoot you.
00:34:08Thanks.
00:34:11So how'd you know we were here?
00:34:12I got a tip.
00:34:15You better handle it from here.
00:34:16I'm on vacation, remember?
00:34:17Right.
00:34:27Hi, guys.
00:34:28Here.
00:34:29Compliments of the CIA.
00:34:33No, thanks.
00:34:34I brought my own.
00:34:34I got a tip.
00:34:48Yeah, Greg Duncan.
00:34:51Yeah, he's here.
00:34:52Who's calling?
00:34:55Some woman named Sione Alvarez.
00:34:57You know her?
00:34:58No, I'll tell you.
00:34:58I got a tip.
00:34:58I got a tip.
00:35:00Robert Malone here.
00:35:07You the man at the fan club last night asking about Charlie Hoskins?
00:35:12Yeah.
00:35:13Well, I've got something here you might be interested in.
00:35:16Some pictures and some papers with top secret on them.
00:35:19Yeah?
00:35:22How'd you get those?
00:35:23Charlie left them behind in one of his jackets.
00:35:26Anyway, you interested or not?
00:35:28Yeah, I'm interested.
00:35:29Where are they?
00:35:30Hey, wait a minute.
00:35:32You don't think you're gonna have them free?
00:35:34Never crossed my mind.
00:35:36How much do you want?
00:35:37Well, I'm not hard to please.
00:35:39How about $1,000?
00:35:40Okay.
00:35:41Payable upon delivery.
00:35:43Now you're talking.
00:35:45I'll see you at Parker Park tonight at 2.15.
00:35:47How do I get off work?
00:35:49I'll be behind the church, okay?
00:35:512.15.
00:35:52See you there.
00:35:56Top secret papers?
00:35:57And he left them behind just like that?
00:35:59No agent would be that careless.
00:36:02Unless he knew he'd been discovered and couldn't get back to his apartment.
00:36:06This girl mentioned Paco Park.
00:36:09Is that some kind of amusement park?
00:36:12It's not that amusing.
00:36:18What kind of amusement park this is?
00:36:22It's a goddamn cemetery.
00:36:25Actually, it's a 16th century Spanish shrine.
00:36:29Oh, shit.
00:36:29Paco Park's a big place.
00:36:47Where the hell is she?
00:36:48Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:36:49Let's check behind the building.
00:36:50Let's check behind the building.
00:37:40Check that way.
00:38:10Check that way.
00:38:16Greg.
00:38:17Yeah.
00:38:18Got something?
00:38:31Looks like she's been strangled.
00:38:53Yeah, I'd say we got here too late, huh?
00:38:54Yeah, for her and the papers.
00:38:55I don't see them around anywhere.
00:38:56Maybe she was smarter than we thought.
00:38:57Maybe she left them behind.
00:38:58Driver's license says Kazon City.
00:38:59I think we should check it out.
00:39:00Let's do it.
00:39:01Let's do it.
00:39:02Let's do it.
00:39:03Let's do it.
00:39:04Let's do it.
00:39:05Let's do it.
00:39:06Let's do it.
00:39:07Let's do it.
00:39:08Let's do it.
00:39:09Let's check in here.
00:39:10Let's do it.
00:39:11Let's do it.
00:39:12Let's do it.
00:39:13Let's do it.
00:39:14Let's go.
00:39:15Let's do it.
00:39:16Let's go.
00:39:17Let's do it.
00:39:18This chicken here is a small lighter.
00:39:48Don't move, drop your gun.
00:40:09The Invincible Taxi Drive, nice to see you again.
00:40:16It's a goddamn taxi driver.
00:40:36Forget about it, that's not what we're here for.
00:40:43I don't think they found what they were looking for.
00:40:46Let me ask you something, who knew, huh?
00:41:05Who knew about the meeting in the park?
00:41:07What are you trying to say?
00:41:08Think about it, Bob, who knew?
00:41:09You, me, and who else?
00:41:11Come on, don't tell me your suspicions of Tracy.
00:41:13Hey man, this chick Sione tried to hold us up for a grand.
00:41:15How do you know she's not making a deal with somebody else and upping the price?
00:41:18It's just a possibility.
00:41:19It's just a possibility.
00:41:20No, screw the possibility.
00:41:21You're a little lenient with the CIA, aren't you?
00:41:23That's not the point.
00:41:24It's a little soon to be distrusting Tracy now, okay?
00:41:27It's your call.
00:41:31Okay.
00:41:32Okay.
00:41:33Okay.
00:41:34Okay.
00:41:35Okay.
00:41:36Okay.
00:41:37Hey, Greg.
00:41:38Yeah, what you got?
00:41:39Okay.
00:41:40Hey, Greg.
00:41:41Yeah, what you got?
00:41:42Hey, Greg.
00:41:43Yeah, what you got?
00:42:00Hey, Greg.
00:42:02Yeah, what you got?
00:42:11Looks like we hit Peter.
00:42:12Yeah, let's hope so.
00:42:41The problem is, it's impossible to tell which jungle this is.
00:42:45I mean, the only reference point we have is a waterfall.
00:42:48I mean, there are literally hundreds of waterfalls in Luzon alone, and that's not even talking about Mindanao and Cebu.
00:42:54Look at this ugly thing, Hoskins, Drew.
00:42:55What is that?
00:42:56Hey, hold it a second.
00:42:57I've seen something like that before.
00:42:59Got it?
00:43:00It's the same idol.
00:43:01Where'd you get that?
00:43:02Found it in Hoskins' apartment.
00:43:03Coincidence?
00:43:04Well, it doesn't mean anything.
00:43:05You know, I know an antique dealer who sells these things, and I'll bet you we can get some information from him.
00:43:21He's got this little shop right in the Pistang Market.
00:43:24Where's that?
00:43:25It's just outside the center of town.
00:43:26It's like a little bazaar where you can get anything you need.
00:43:28All right?
00:43:29Let's ring with it!
00:43:30Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:43:31Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
00:43:32Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
00:43:36Ha ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
00:43:38Ha ha!
00:43:43All right, we're at your napkin.
00:43:50I'm pretty sure it's down there on the left.
00:44:24Good morning, gentlemen.
00:44:27Hello, my friend.
00:44:28Welcome to my humble shop.
00:44:32What can I do for you?
00:44:34Actually, we just want some information, which we're willing to pay for, of course.
00:44:39What sort of information?
00:44:40You, uh, tell us about this?
00:44:44This is a very old, primitive idol.
00:44:49A divinity of the Moro tribe, who were the first inhabitants of this island.
00:44:55It is just a copy.
00:44:57It has no value at all.
00:44:58That's not really important.
00:45:00See, what we want to know is, does it have any geographical significance?
00:45:03Can you connect this thing to any specific part of the country?
00:45:06Well, the main zones would be in the tract of land at the foot of Lanark Mountain, northeast of Manila.
00:45:15No.
00:45:23Great, great.
00:45:40Check out these birds.
00:45:44What are you, a collector of fine art?
00:45:46No, we've got a couple of others following us.
00:45:53May I help you, sir?
00:45:54Yes, how much is this?
00:45:55One dollar.
00:46:41Look, that's all of them.
00:46:46How's the little birdie?
00:46:49Bird.
00:46:51She made it through.
00:47:09Easy, Mr. Millard.
00:47:10Every time I meet you, I wind up looking down the barrel of your gun.
00:47:17It seems like you always show up when least expected.
00:47:22My compliments.
00:47:24You're right on the job.
00:47:25Sorry, we weren't expecting any visitors.
00:47:27I just wanted to check if the equipment we sent you is adequate and see if you've learned
00:47:31anything.
00:47:34Well, have you got any news?
00:47:36Well, actually, we do have a few leads we're checking on.
00:47:39It's just that our time is running out, gentlemen.
00:47:46Well, I'm sorry to have disturbed you.
00:47:48I'll let you two go back to work.
00:47:50Good luck, Duncan.
00:47:51Appreciate that.
00:47:52Mr. Malone?
00:47:52Mm-hmm.
00:47:53Yeah.
00:48:01Well, it's not going to be in the first place.
00:48:02We're trying to get you.
00:48:04We're going to be in the first place.
00:48:05I'm sorry.
00:48:06I'm sorry.

00:58:27Let me have the binoculars, Bob.
00:58:29Bob, you want a first-name basis now?
00:58:32I have an idea.

01:18:32Yeah, it'll be better.
01:18:34Just before the alarm went off, I managed to discover the only other terminal the computer was connected to.
01:18:39Yeah? Where is it?
01:18:40At the summer residence of Sir Malcolm Forrest.
01:18:43What a surprise.

01:23:16Oh, my God.
01:23:17Oh, my God.
01:23:18Oh, my God.
01:23:19Oh, my God.
01:23:20Oh, my God.
01:23:21Oh, my God.
01:23:22Oh, my God.
01:23:23Oh, my God.
01:23:24Oh, my God.
01:23:25Oh, my God.
01:23:26What the bloody hell is this?
01:23:32That's very serious news.
01:23:33I'm sure the world will be totally shocked.
01:23:47Very nice work, Lieutenant Rogers.
01:23:49That goes for you two gentlemen as well.
01:23:51The CIA is greatly indebted to you.
01:23:53We'll take care of Sir Malcolm.
01:23:58Now that he's been rendered harmless.
01:24:00You're full of surprises.
01:24:02How did you know we were here this time?
01:24:04Oh, we deduced that from Tracy's last report.
01:24:07Then our radar screen picked you up, leaving the jungle,
01:24:09and followed you to where you landed.
01:24:12Well, thanks to you, the CIA can now consider this mission closed.
01:24:23Something doesn't add up here.
01:24:28What last report?
01:24:29How did he get here?
01:24:31Gray, did you hear a helicopter land?
01:24:32You're not worth it.
01:24:59The mold came out of the hole.
01:25:05Like I said, my man, Tracy was innocent.
01:25:09I guess it was your call.
01:25:19Lieutenant Hanson, sir.
01:25:20I'll take over.
01:25:22You three in there.
01:25:23They missed all the fun.
01:25:39Bob.
01:25:40I was thinking, maybe next time we could work together in Chicago.
01:25:45Next time?
01:25:47What next time?
01:25:48Hey, I think we'd make a pretty good team.
01:25:50Hey, hey, come on, forget it, huh?
01:25:53I'll call you.
01:25:53Don't call me, all right?
01:25:55No, Bob, I'm serious.
01:25:55Hey, I'm with that.
01:25:56Yeah, Bob, really.
01:25:58I like this guy.
01:25:58I mean, why shouldn't we?
01:25:59Come on, Bob.
01:26:00No way.
01:26:01When your eyes meet mine, I wonder what you'll do to me.
01:26:23Suddenly, I need you desperately.
01:26:26Never did my wildest dream, and so recklessly.
01:26:36But where you are, is where I want to be.
01:26:42I need you more than I would ever dare to say.
01:26:49You're the only one I'll ever walk this way.
01:26:54Only you, you're the place I want to work and stray.
01:27:03And I feel as though my heart's here to stay.
01:27:07I want you, watching me, saying, save the night for me.
01:27:17Keep me saving, saving, saving.
01:27:21Saving, saving, saving.
01:27:23Me and you, you and me.
01:27:27That's the way it's gonna be.
01:27:30You'll be saving, saving, saving.
01:27:34Saving, saving, saving.
01:27:38Saving, saving, saving.
01:27:40Save the night for me.
