00:00Ivo the engine. Oh yes, there he is. He came off the rails and went sledging, didn't he?

00:17Yes, and there's Major Tlewellyn's new fire engine, stuck fast in a snowdrift.

00:22What a day of disasters.

00:23Ah, rescue is at hand at last. Here comes Mr. Jobson, the chief engineer with the big crane from Pontypool Roads.

00:47Hello there, die station. You in trouble, are you?

00:50Oh, just a slight derailment. These things can happen.

00:55Oh well, I reckon we had better pull you back to the level crossing over there, Ivo.

01:02If the ground is fairly hard and flat, look, if you'd help me out with a hook, Mr. Jones, and then we'll pull you out, Major Tlewellyn.

01:10Oh, thank you.

01:13Now, mind all the way, boys and girls. You ready, Ivo?

01:17The chain is on, Mr. Jobson.

01:20Now you're in.

01:29Oh, Ivo, you are a heavy engine.

01:34Hey, look, the crane.

01:38Jones, Mr. Jobson, the crane.

01:40Well, thank you, Mr. Jobson.

01:49Well, don't mention it, really.

01:52Did your crane fall over then, mister?

01:55Yes, it fell over.

01:57Can't we do anything to help?

01:59Yes, you can.

02:00Collect as much old wood and branches as you can find and make a big bonfire.

02:04Here, it's going to be a long, cold day.

02:08So the boys and girls collected a bonfire, while Jones the Steam, Dye Station, Major Tlewellyn and Mr. Jobson sat and wondered what to do next.

02:19Got any more bright ideas, have you, Nell?

02:24Hi.

02:26What's that noise?

02:27Why, it's Barney, and Alice, and George, and Margaret, and Clarence.

02:48Where did you spring from?

02:51We are in winter quarters in Landmad.

02:53We understood from your donkey that you are needing help.

02:57Well, yes, we do have a bit of trouble, what, with one thing or another.

03:06No trouble for elephants.

03:07Come, George, Margaret, and Clarence.

03:10Extremely hard pushing, please.

03:23Well, it all seems to be quite easy for elephants.

03:29First the crane, then Major Tlewellyn's fire engine.

03:36And last of all, Ivor himself was nudged back onto the line.

03:39Very good, Alice.

03:43Very good, Clarence, George, and Margaret.

03:46Have you any more engines buried in the snow?

03:49No, that is everything.

03:51Thank you very much.

03:53Oh, it is gold.

03:55Oh, it is very gold.

03:57Gold for elephants, gold for Indians, gold for me.

04:00Hey, what about that bonfire?

04:02Come on, everybody.

04:03A big bonfire, big enough to warm four elephants.

04:06And one elephant keeper.

04:10They soon got a really big bonfire going.

04:12Jones the steam made buckets of tea from Ivor's boiler.

04:16And everybody sat around the bonfire to keep warm.

04:19While Ivor fetched trucks and canvas covers

04:22to take the elephants back to their warm winter quarters at Landmad.
