00:39Round one underway Sandoval in the red trimmed with silver and he's in the

00:45black with blue and white. Kane so calm and composed you want to talk about you

00:53know an inspiring story. Kane comes from Sacramento as we heard the Sacramento

00:57kid you know and he really talks about what he's been through and and that is

01:01his source of motivation and inspiration and through Sacramento and through all

01:07that he's been through in the neighborhood and you know in the hoods of of

01:10Sandy excuse me Sacramento has moved and found his way to one of the great you

01:15know the greatest gyms there is in boxing training alongside a squad and a squad

01:22full of killers. Yep. And he talked about how he sparred this camp with Callum with

01:27Umar and these incredibly talented athletes. But Kane at just 15 and 0 in his career he's

01:35got 13 knockouts 86 percent knockout rates and climbing and he is just 22 years old. I mean he

01:41has the whole world in front of him. Yeah and you talk about that move you know he he said that there were

01:48people that you know were close to him in Sacramento that he felt like they were almost

01:53trying to tear him down and get in his way and you know it takes a lot for a 22 year old to be that

01:59mature and go like I have to uproot my entire life and there's no better place I think here in

02:05Southern California you know potentially to go than the wild card but to drop everything that you

02:09know as your home to go and do what you need to do for your career says a lot about his mindset and his

02:15mission. Absolutely. And he's got two babies back home in Sacramento. Anna Marie and Miolani are his

02:22two daughters you know and and they are they are everything to him and he talks about how difficult

02:27it is to be here or excuse me to be in LA and away from his family and in camp and training.

02:33But at the same time he understands what the sacrifices are what sacrifices are needed to get

02:39him where he wants to go where he believes he should be you know and he is he's a future champion in the

02:44making. He's on a nice little run. His last two fights he scored knockouts and Kane's a guy that

02:54has power early but he also has power late. He's a hard right hand though from Anise. Anise has landed

02:59some some good shots in here but Kane likes this style of fight. Kane will take shots. Kane likes to

03:05sit inside the fire. He likes chaotic environments inside this ring here and just goes to war and

03:12persevere in these crazy chaotic moments. And so he's willing to get hit to land his shots or to find

03:19his openings to find his knockout.

03:24And that's what he's doing. He's timing. He's reading.

04:36He's not afraid to shy away from a fight.

04:48What was one of the better fights on UFC Fight Pass whether it be MMA

04:51or boxing.

04:53When Kane Sandoval is in a fight, don't blink.

04:58Because he's fighting for so much more than people understand.

05:01He's not just fighting for respect.

05:03He's fighting with heart.

05:04With grit.

05:05And reason.

05:06A reason that a lot of people can't understand.

05:08The personal things he's gone through.

05:10You know, overcoming his neighborhood and his own upbringing.

05:13He has so much to fight for on top of moving away, being away from his family, being inside

05:20of a camp with, you know, going to the gym every day with killers.

05:24And, you know, he's just persevering.

05:25He's working his way through his life and through his career.

05:28I mean, I think he's on a mission for a belt one day, but he's got to keep buying those

05:35grills, too.

05:36He's got to get the gold in the teeth.

05:37Yes.

05:44And so, now that he's, you know, progressing in life and becoming successful, he says,

06:00Anise doing a good job, though, of really utilizing this ring, moving around it, finding

06:06his openings and shots.

06:07Yeah, Anise, again, stepping up on short notice, two weeks to get in there with Cain

06:15Sandoval.

06:17He's confident.

06:18He had a fight two weeks ago and found himself a fourth-round knockout.

06:23So, he's a very confident man in this fight.

06:26He's clearly in shape, but Cain putting together shots like he's hitting a double-end bag in this

06:32moment.

06:32And he's trying to fire back with that left hand, but he definitely ate a good combination

06:39from Sugar Cain Sandoval.

06:42He does.

06:43I mean, and even when Anise lands a shot, you notice how disciplined Cain is.

06:48He doesn't try to fire one right back.

06:50He sticks to his game plan, sticks to his discipline, and continues on with what he's doing.

06:55But right now, he's got Anise inside of this corner here, against the ropes.

07:38He was calm, he was patient, he took shots, even unnecessary shots.

07:43But all he was doing was timing and setting up for that moment right there.

07:54I mean, he was patient.

07:55A lot of young, 22-year-old men that have that kind of power, they sell out for it sometimes

08:02Cain's not afraid to wait until maybe even the fourth, fifth, sixth round.

08:06He knows that power's going to be there, and it shows up here early tonight.

08:10He doesn't force the issue, but he still gets the knockout.

08:13Anise, you could see, it just was overwhelming, and he was almost his own worst enemy because

08:18he wasn't falling down.

08:19Cain might have been keeping him up with the punches.
