00:13In the June incident, Latin American nationals were rescued.
00:17In a statement, the CTU says formal charges have since been laid against the primary suspect, Gabrieles Maybelline Pereira Martinez, a 22-year-old Venezuelan national.
00:29She was charged with receiving and harboring a Latin American female for the purpose of exploiting her for prostitution, unlawfully and knowingly confiscating identification documents for the purpose of trafficking and cruelty to children.
00:45When the matter was heard before Master Rehana Hussain, she ordered no bail be granted.
00:50The CTU is tonight advising members of the public, if they report suspected cases of human trafficking, to report it to the CTU hotline at 800-400.
