00:00Hello, I'm Rachel Grealish from the Yorkshire Post.
00:03An inquest has concluded that a 21-year-old Annie Dryden from Middlesbrough died as a result of taking multiple drugs.
00:11Her body was found in a remote woodland area near High Farm and Little Eastby on April 27th, 2024, four months after she was reported missing.
00:20At North Allerton Coroner's Court on Wednesday, July 23rd, the hearing was told Annie had long-standing mental health struggles and had previously overdosed on heroin.
00:31She was last seen by a mental health professional on January 4th. The next day, she was reported missing.
00:39A post-mortem confirmed fatal levels of morphine in her system and the coroner ruled her death was drug-related.
00:45However, he said there was not enough evidence to conclude suicide.
00:49That is all for today. If you're struggling, remember, call Samaritans at any time on 116 123. Bye now.
