00:04event? Well I originally came but I come along with my wife Carol because our very dear friends
00:10Gillian and Jonathan sing in this choir and they invited us along and it was a very nice invitation
00:16but we've been along many times since as guests and the reason we keep coming back is because
00:23it's such a lovely setup it's a lovely choir it's very friendly the conductor is amazing he's very
00:34inclusive and he's encouraging he's clear but he makes sure you do it correctly it's quite a
00:42challenge as well the cakes are magnificent and so many cakes it's just impossible to get through them
00:50All in all it's an absolutely wonderful and welcoming environment and great for our singing
00:55and great friendship and companionship with all the people in the choir. Marina why did you come today
01:00and what have you got out of the day? I came today because I'm in a different choir I'm in a gospel
01:05choir and that's kind of the only thing I've been doing in the last years but I do have musical
01:11background and I like when I saw that uh they're doing musicals I like music. So Sylvia you are one of
01:21the organizers of the Waverly Singh today what were you trying to achieve and and and did it work?
01:27I think we had a great day um there were two different sets of people here there was the regular
01:31Waverly Singh members really enjoyed doing some fun music and uh also then there were our guests who
01:39came from an unknown uh amount of knowledge about choral singing and I think on different levels
01:45I think they enjoyed themselves and uh Richard was great Jacob was great and we had a lovely venue
01:51we had beautiful weather and it's been a really successful day.
