00:00Every state in the U.S. makes wine, but we typically only drink from a handful of them.
00:04Here are three new states to try. There are almost 300 wineries in the state of Virginia,
00:08primarily in the Blue Ridge Mountains up through the north. There's a lot of Chardonnay planted
00:12in Virginia, but today we're trying a Pinot Grigio. This Pinot Grigio is from the Blue Ridge
00:17Mountains. It's lemony, lime, there's a ton of minerality. This is really delicious. Now we're
00:22moving west all the way to Arizona, an hour south of Tucson. We are like 30 minutes from the border
00:26of Mexico to Los Milics Winery. This really beautiful winemaking region is at like around
00:315,000 feet of elevation. They really study mountains, gorgeous plains, and make really spectacular
00:36wine. This super fresh rosé is a mix of Grenache and Tempranillo and a few other grapes. There's
00:41grapefruit and strawberries. This tastes like sunshine. Now off to Vermont where we're going
00:46to La Gargista, a pretty iconic winery and farm. It's actually a biodynamic farm. They grow grapes,
00:52they grow apples, they make wine from both. They also grow some grapes you've probably
00:56never heard of before. This red wine is made from Fontenac Noir. It has a beautiful kind
01:01of like garnet color and it almost smells a little bit like sherry. That is really, really
01:06excellent. There is so much great wine made all throughout the U.S. So when you see something
01:10new on the menu, give it a try. Cheers.
