Mexico City celebrates the 700th anniversary of its founding as the ancient Mexican capital

Aztec temples rise again in Mexico City, at least digitally, during a light and sound show projected to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the founding of the ancient Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City.

Dozens of people gather in Constitution Plaza, the country's most important public square, to watch the story of the capital's foundation and remember battle scenes between the Mexica and the Spanish during the colonial times.
