Families of missing kin question Mexico's World Cup readiness

Relatives of missing people in Zapopan hand out and paste search posters in public spaces on March 8, 2026 as they question the security preparedness of Mexico ahead of World Cup matches and the recent El Mencho drug lord police operation. During the event, families distributed posters with the names and photos of missing relatives, while members of the Luz de Esperanza Desaparecidos Jalisco group covered columns and poles with the notices.
