00:00:00I still need to know how vape became so damn popular.
00:00:15It's just a new thing. That's it. There isn't really much there. There isn't more to it than that.
00:00:21It came out. It was supposedly better than regular smoking. People did it.
00:00:51I just showed up and I was so confused and I'm still confused. Okay.
00:01:00I mean, there's not really much to be confused about.
00:01:10Story with a sick puppy in Pokemon, maybe.
00:01:12Quipsy, do you have anything to say?
00:01:15Oh, yeah. I made a little fun out of the stream.
00:01:19I just wanted to say that.
00:01:22Oh, yeah. I saw that in the server.
00:01:26Hope you like it because I've been drawn in maybe two months.
00:01:31So this is the first thing that I did.
00:01:36Anyway, have a Dice Day. I'll be going now.
00:01:39All right. See you, Quipsy.
00:01:42All right. Floor is open if anyone else wants to come in.
00:01:49Hello, Famous Sumas.
00:02:02Hello.
00:02:02I hope you're all having a good day.
00:02:15Can you hear me?
00:02:16Yeah, I can hear you.
00:02:18Oh, okay. Good.
00:02:20Sorry. I had a stream on my phone, too.
00:02:21So, a bit of double speed, but, um...
00:02:26Yeah, and first of all, thank you for all the videos you made.
00:02:29I'm very excited to, um, reviewing every nominee game.
00:02:35That was a good video to have during a long bus ride I had.
00:02:40So thank you for that.
00:02:41Oh, yeah.
00:02:42She has a new game coming out on the 10th of July called Return to Ash.
00:02:46You bet your ass I'm doing a video on that one.
00:02:47Very nice. Very nice.
00:02:53And, um...
00:02:54Yeah, um...
00:02:57Damn, I have a question.
00:02:59I was just wondering, um, if I...
00:03:01I've never done into Pokemon when I was a kid.
00:03:05So, I'm just wondering, like, um...
00:03:08What would be the Pokemon thing you were whether it meant
00:03:11for someone who's never played one before?
00:03:15Um...
00:03:16Gen 1.
00:03:18Honestly, there's no better place to start than the beginning.
00:03:23Hmm.
00:03:25That's fair.
00:03:26Play Gen 1.
00:03:27If you liked it, play Gen 2.
00:03:29If you liked it, play Gen 3.
00:03:31Hmm.
00:03:33Ah, yes.
00:03:34Okay.
00:03:35Okay, I'll do that then.
00:03:39Also, um...
00:03:40Let's see, what was the...
00:03:43Oh, and...
00:03:43Um...
00:03:44I want to say thank you to Madeleine for...
00:03:47The...
00:03:48The...
00:03:48The many, like, Haven and Straight Guards.
00:03:51I haven't played Haven yet, but, um...
00:03:53I really enjoyed, um...
00:03:55Straight Guards.
00:03:56David Gator writes a visual note.
00:04:07What a thunk.
00:04:09Yeah.
00:04:13Um...
00:04:14I have.
00:04:15Um...
00:04:16But, D, what am I doing fast?
00:04:20Damn.
00:04:24Uh, I was wondering, have you...
00:04:27Uh, what...
00:04:28Do you have any thoughts on, like, um...
00:04:30Marvel Rivals, or any games you've been playing, like...
00:04:33Playing recently?
00:04:34Uh...
00:04:35Oh, Marvel Rivals.
00:04:38Yeah, no, I...
00:04:39I've not played Marvel Rivals.
00:04:42Uh, they don't.
00:04:44That is a pretty fun game.
00:04:49It's...
00:04:49It's basically all of us, but...
00:04:51Marvel, but...
00:04:53Yeah.
00:04:55Yeah.
00:04:57It exists.
00:04:58That is...
00:05:02It exists.
00:05:03Yeah.
00:05:04Yeah.
00:05:08Yeah, sorry.
00:05:09I don't have a lot to say, but, um...
00:05:14Um...
00:05:19Um...
00:05:20I think I'll just leave and let someone else up to the floor, but, um...
00:05:23Thank you for the good videos, and I hope that you all have a lovely gay day.
00:05:31You all have a lovely gay day.
00:05:33Okay, uh...
00:05:39Time break?
00:05:40You're on.
00:05:41Or, Leah, whoever talks first.
00:05:47Uh, hello?
00:05:48Hi, Time.
00:05:50Oh, uh...
00:05:52Hi.
00:05:53Uh...
00:05:54Sorry, I've been playing this for, like, the last half hour, and now the words are escaping me.
00:06:00That's okay.
00:06:01That's okay.
00:06:02Take your time.
00:06:05Uh-huh.
00:06:06Uh-huh.
00:06:07Uh-huh.
00:06:08Okay.
00:06:09Uh...
00:06:10I'm trying to think.
00:06:13Uh, so...
00:06:14I've said before, like, I think that your, uh, Pokemon video is probably my favorite.
00:06:20I know that's been brought up quite a few times this stream.
00:06:24I'm sorry.
00:06:25Uh...
00:06:25I'm kind of wondering, like, uh...
00:06:31What did you think about, uh, Pokemon Black and White 2?
00:06:33Um...
00:06:35Eh.
00:06:37More...
00:06:38It was more Pokemon Black and White.
00:06:42Well, I know that, like, uh...
00:06:45Well, I know one of your major problems was N in the first ones, and...
00:06:50You know, I...
00:06:51The more I look back on it, I'm like, yeah, he's kind of weird.
00:06:55Well, he's weirder than I initially believed.
00:06:58And, um, I just know that, like, the sequel had a lot less of him, so I wanted to know
00:07:05if that painted your opinion any differently, I guess.
00:07:09N is my biggest objection to, uh...
00:07:12N is my strongest objection to Black and White.
00:07:15It is not the only objection.
00:07:16The story is still...
00:07:18I don't care.
00:07:20I don't care any...
00:07:22Um, I don't care about the story at all.
00:07:24Uh, the characters, they are not interesting.
00:07:29Um, and it imposes on you every chance it gets.
00:07:35Yeah, that's fair.
00:07:38Yeah, I'm not really...
00:07:40I, like, I, too, am not really a fan of, like, the direction that the stories have been going in.
00:07:46Uh, you know, stuff like the...
00:07:48Stuff they're doing with Nimona, I like.
00:07:50That's pretty different.
00:07:51I like that.
00:07:53Um...
00:07:54But, yeah, otherwise, it's just, like...
00:07:57Like you said, they really are just trying to turn into, like, a JRPG, and that's not what it's supposed to...
00:08:03Like, they tried that once in, like, uh, Conquest, I think it was, like, 10, 15 years ago or something.
00:08:11Uh, I don't really know how well it did, because I don't really hear much about that.
00:08:20But...
00:08:20I don't know what's going on with that one, so I could be talking nonsense.
00:08:24I had somebody argue with me about, uh...
00:08:27This was one of the few times I managed to actually get someone to shut the fuck up.
00:08:31Was they were saying, it's like, you're complaining that Pokemon's becoming a JRPG, but it is a JRPG.
00:08:36And I responded with, okay, the Karate Kid is a martial arts movie.
00:08:41It's not what you think of when you hear martial arts movies.
00:08:46Yeah?
00:08:47Fuck.
00:08:48Good point.
00:08:48Yeah.
00:08:54Uh, what else?
00:09:04Fans like Gen 5 because of the idea of having a story, uh, rather than how good the story is.
00:09:10Yes.
00:09:11Yeah, that's my point.
00:09:13A lot of fandom will treat the existence of something as quality in and of itself.
00:09:20Uh, you know...
00:09:21Yeah.
00:09:23Um...
00:09:24Black and White is a bad story, but it's a Pokemon game that technically has a complicated story.
00:09:34Therefore, in the eyes of fandom, it is a good, complicated story.
00:09:40It's more complicated than what it's worth.
00:09:43Yeah.
00:09:45Uh...
00:09:46What else?
00:09:50Oh, uh...
00:09:52Like I said, I am, uh, finally checking out Mass Effect because of the videos you've done.
00:09:57And I've been enjoying it pretty good so far.
00:10:00Uh...
00:10:00I don't really...
00:10:02I don't really do, uh, female characters whenever I play games because I am myself, uh, uh, male.
00:10:11But, uh...
00:10:14Yeah, it's just...
00:10:16I think Jennifer Hill's voice acting and, like, how you play her in your videos is just taking no one's shit.
00:10:23It's just...
00:10:24It's too good.
00:10:25Oh, yeah.
00:10:27I...
00:10:27Yeah.
00:10:35Uh...
00:10:36Oh, here's something terrible.
00:10:38What do you call a trans girl who's deep in the closet?
00:10:42A hard-boiled egg.
00:10:45Oh!
00:10:51Oh!
00:10:52Sorry, I'm not really a part of the community.
00:10:53I can't really, like, say I would have gotten that joke or that I could...
00:10:59Oh, uh, it's easy to explain.
00:11:00An egg is a term for a trans person who has not yet realized that they're trans.
00:11:07And so, when you realize you're trans, it's called your egg cracking.
00:11:11The idea being, the idea being that when you were born, you were not actually yourself yet, so your parents laid an egg.
00:11:21When you finally realize your true self, you have hatched.
00:11:24Ah, okay.
00:11:27I like that.
00:11:29That's kind of neat.
00:11:32Uh...
00:11:33Yeah, it's just, like...
00:11:37Look...
00:11:38I don't really mean to comment on this.
00:11:42It's just, like, I'm...
00:11:43I was raised in kind of, like, a sheltered lifestyle.
00:11:46Not to say that, like, my family or anything is, like, anti-anything.
00:11:51I came from, like, a very good family.
00:11:53It's just, like...
00:11:54It's okay.
00:11:55You just say what you want to say.
00:11:57I know.
00:11:58It's just...
00:11:58You know how the internet is nowadays, where you can't say one thing or else, like, you're enemy number one.
00:12:06Okay, but here's the thing.
00:12:07You're on a stream with a trans girl, so if you say something pig-headed, I can explain to you why it was pig-headed.
00:12:12That is fair, yes.
00:12:17It's...
00:12:18Look, I come from, like, a really small town where, like, you get funny looks if you spend too much time in the men's department.
00:12:25It's that kind of area, if you can imagine.
00:12:31Uh...
00:12:31Well, you probably could imagine, actually.
00:12:35Sorry, I tend to ramble when I don't know what I'm talking about.
00:12:39I assume this...
00:12:40I assume there was something you were trying to lead into?
00:12:44Like, a question or something?
00:12:47I don't think there was.
00:12:49Ah.
00:12:52Look, it's, like...
00:12:53Okay, oh, yeah, I feel...
00:12:55Okay, yeah, I know what you're doing.
00:12:58Uh, you didn't know what egg meant, and so I explained it to you, and on some level...
00:13:05But just tell me if I'm on the money or completely off base.
00:13:09On some level, it's like, I need to...
00:13:12I need to explain myself for being ignorant.
00:13:18Is that it?
00:13:19Am I really that obvious?
00:13:22It's not that you're that...
00:13:24It's not that you're, uh, that obvious.
00:13:25I have just seen this many, many times with many, many people.
00:13:29Uh, and no, you don't...
00:13:30And, like, you don't have to explain yourself.
00:13:31A lot of cis people don't...
00:13:33There are a lot of cis people who don't know what we mean when we say egg.
00:13:37And we are happy to explain it.
00:13:41Okay, well, that's...
00:13:42Good, it's just, like...
00:13:44I'm trying to make sure that I'm coming off as, like...
00:13:47The one who's not against everything that you represent.
00:13:52Okay.
00:13:52Because I know that's quite a lot of the issues these days.
00:13:56Okay, I'll...
00:13:57I'll tell you the...
00:13:58I'll tell you the cheat sheet for that.
00:13:59Uh, the, uh, the cheat sheet is, if you don't...
00:14:03It is, um...
00:14:05Curiosity.
00:14:07If you hear a trans person's use a term and you don't know what it is,
00:14:11you just go, ooh, what's that?
00:14:15I used to do that all the time on Tumblr when people would ask, like,
00:14:18what's your opinion on fucking Luke's agenda?
00:14:21And I was like, I don't know what that is.
00:14:23Uh, it's like, I am intrigued.
00:14:24Explain.
00:14:24Explain.
00:14:26Explain.
00:14:29People are okay with you not knowing things.
00:14:32It's a...
00:14:33Here's the...
00:14:33Here's the secret code to find out if someone's transphobic.
00:14:36If somebody misgenders me, I correct...
00:14:39I correct them.
00:14:40And if they're not transphobic, they go, oh, shit, my bad.
00:14:43And if they are transphobic, they...
00:14:45And if they are transphobic, they'll go, okay, well, you know,
00:14:48I didn't know that, and, like, you look male, so...
00:14:52Yeah.
00:14:52Usually my go-to identifier is whether or not they're wearing a red hat,
00:14:59but that's just me.
00:15:02That is...
00:15:02That is...
00:15:04Yeah.
00:15:06Okay.
00:15:06Okay.
00:15:07Okay.
00:15:07CD is intrigued.
00:15:09Explain how the red hat tells you someone's trans.
00:15:13Oh, wait, no, sorry.
00:15:14The red hat tells you someone's an asshole.
00:15:16The fucking MAGA hat.
00:15:17Yeah.
00:15:17My bad.
00:15:18God, I'm stupid.
00:15:19Oh, God.
00:15:24I am sick as hell.
00:15:27Yeah.
00:15:29I'm sorry that you guys are sick, by the way.
00:15:31I'm sending...
00:15:31I'm sending...
00:15:32I'm sending virtual soup.
00:15:36The good hearty stuff, not the Campbell stuff.
00:15:39Oh, I like the Campbell stuff.
00:15:41I do have...
00:15:41I do have...
00:15:42Okay, then I'll throw that in, too.
00:15:43I do have beef barley soup in the cabinet, though.
00:15:48Ooh, that's hearty.
00:15:49That's good.
00:15:51Somebody once told...
00:15:52Like, I got a reputation on Tumblr for being, like, really fucking accepting when it came
00:15:56to, like, neogenders and neopronouns, mostly just because somebody told me their pronouns
00:16:01were, like, one of their pronouns was anomaly, and I spent, like, a good three posts going,
00:16:07wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, back the fuck up.
00:16:10Your pronouns are anomaly?
00:16:12That is the coolest thing I've ever heard.
00:16:14Yeah, see, like, that's, like, that's just kind of how I am.
00:16:25Like, I didn't realize that pronouns were a thing until, like, maybe a couple of years
00:16:30ago.
00:16:30So, and I was more or less intrigued because, like, I mean, that stuff obviously doesn't
00:16:36really bother me personally.
00:16:38It's just, like, I don't really understand it, but I'm a bit curious about how that works.
00:16:45What do you mean?
00:16:51Well, just, like, well, like I said, I come from, like, a pretty sheltered background.
00:16:58We don't really do the whole pronouns thing around here, like, it's just not something
00:17:04that I had heard of until a couple of years ago that people were doing.
00:17:09So, like, the idea that people could have preferred pronouns?
00:17:11Yeah, that's just not something that I had heard of until a little while ago.
00:17:17Oh, okay, well, um, you know, okay, be honest with me.
00:17:23You would not like it if I referred to you as she, right?
00:17:28Well, I would explain that I identify as he, him.
00:17:33But you wouldn't like it if I referred to you as she, right?
00:17:41I mean, at some point, I just wouldn't think anything of it and just move on.
00:17:46It's a yes or no question.
00:17:51Uh, I guess not.
00:17:55Exactly.
00:17:55That's how I feel about being referred to as he or they.
00:18:00That's it.
00:18:01There's really nothing more to it than that.
00:18:03Um, a lot of people have a hard time, like, a lot of cis people are comfortable with their
00:18:09own gender, so they don't, like, it's, it's like, it's like trying to explain, it is admittedly
00:18:17like trying to explain to someone who has never vomited before what vomiting feels like, but
00:18:23gender dysphoria is what a lot of trans people have, and they have a deep-seated discomfort
00:18:32and dread at the body and gender that they were assigned at birth.
00:18:37It is, like, you know, if, the best, like, the best way to, the best way to, uh, imitate
00:18:45it would be, like, like I said, if I referred to you as she, you wouldn't like it.
00:18:51And it's kind of this vague feeling you can't quite explain, you couldn't quite explain it
00:18:56in a lot of detail.
00:18:57I can't explain it in a lot of detail either.
00:19:00Um, but.
00:19:02Oh, see, like, that's, like, that's the thing about me, like, I'm autistic.
00:19:08I can't explain things for shit.
00:19:09And that's also why I'm, like, not very good at communicating things as, as what this conversation
00:19:21has been.
00:19:22Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:19:23It's, uh, I'm just, I'm trying to get to the point of it, is that the reason people have
00:19:27preferred pronouns is pretty simple.
00:19:30When people call me she, I get this little rush of joy.
00:19:33And that's it.
00:19:34The first time it happened, it was very intense.
00:19:38And nowadays, but nowadays, it's just like, yes, that's right.
00:19:42This is correct.
00:19:44Hmm.
00:19:45Gender dysphoria is like wearing the wrong size shoes.
00:19:48They're either uncomfortably tight or flopping around.
00:19:52And everything in your brain is like, that's not right.
00:19:57Yeah, I know that feeling all too well.
00:19:58There we go.
00:20:00Um.
00:20:00You're getting it.
00:20:02Yeah.
00:20:03Uh.
00:20:03I, I don't really have much else to say.
00:20:08Um.
00:20:10Oh, uh, Michaela, I'm sorry that I haven't really given you much attention.
00:20:15I, I'm not quite as familiar with your videos, unfortunately.
00:20:19That's okay.
00:20:22Well, I don't like having people feel left out.
00:20:26I agree.
00:20:27We can't just happy to be here.
00:20:28Well, if you two together, then I'm hoping that you are enjoying each other's company.
00:20:36We are.
00:20:36Oh, yeah, totally are.
00:20:38I would hope we are.
00:20:39I would hope we are.
00:20:39Uh, the fact that we got married would be a little confusing, otherwise.
00:20:42Like, do you like me?
00:20:47Well, I.
00:20:49Like, it'd be like, that's me saying, like, do you like me?
00:20:52Like, we're married.
00:20:53Like, oh, yeah, but did you marry me, like, in a friend way?
00:20:55Or.
00:20:58Oh, God.
00:21:00Net new level of gal pal where you're gal palling each other.
00:21:04That was adorable.
00:21:11Um.
00:21:12I.
00:21:14I think that's about everything.
00:21:16Uh, I don't really mean to keep this going on.
00:21:20That's all right.
00:21:21Uh.
00:21:21And then you have a table to get to.
00:21:23Thanks for dropping by.
00:21:25Yeah, thank you for having me.
00:21:26This is very nice.
00:21:31You have a wonderful.
00:21:32Oh, he's gone already.
00:21:34Well, he's probably still on the stream.
00:21:36You have a wonderful rest of your day.
00:21:38Uh, anyway, Leah, you're up.
00:21:42Hi.
00:21:43Um.
00:21:44I'm, like, I'm, like, really jittery.
00:21:46I'm not really great at speaking.
00:21:47But, uh, I was wondering if I, you, and Michaela were gravitating towards a certain type.
00:21:52Any, any certain type of, like, media or shows that you guys don't really post or talk about?
00:21:58We've been watching a lot of robot wars lately.
00:22:01Oh, yeah.
00:22:02Yeah.
00:22:03Is that good?
00:22:05Oh, yeah.
00:22:06It's like, what's it about?
00:22:06Oh, yeah, it's good.
00:22:07It is a, uh, it's a British, uh, it's a British show from the late 90s, early 2000s.
00:22:13Uh, about, uh, people build com.
00:22:16Uh, people build combat robots, and they make them fight.
00:22:25And that's it.
00:22:26And it's kind of like pro wrestling, but where you get to watch, uh, you get to watch a, uh,
00:22:33an RC car with a fucking saw blade attached to it tear up another RC car.
00:22:38And then a big scorpion with a saw blade for a face comes in and mauls them both.
00:22:46Oh, yeah.
00:22:47I feel like I need to watch this.
00:22:49This sounds, this sounds something like, something like, some, like something I'd watch.
00:22:54Well, I could, all right, well, I could easily just pull up Plex and show you and show everybody
00:23:01a clip.
00:23:03Oh, my God.
00:23:03Yeah.
00:23:04Do it.
00:23:04Season two is, in my mind, the best one.
00:23:33Um, which heat do we want to, which, which one do we want to do?
00:23:38I'm going to do only a little bit of one episode, but.
00:23:42Is there like a moment that it's like, McKay, is there a moment that really sticks out to
00:23:46you as like the best one?
00:23:52Oh, yep.
00:23:53Oh, yeah.
00:23:54Cassius would do it.
00:23:55Let's do Cassius running the trials.
00:24:01Okay.
00:24:03And we'll stream it here.
00:24:09Oh, here we go.
00:24:39I think they can do better.
00:24:44Robot ears, stay by.
00:24:48Three, two, one, activate.
00:24:53Cassius with the mighty punch.
00:24:57Look at the barrels and the bricks go.
00:25:00Already at least 30 points scored from barrels.
00:25:03I'd say at least 30 points scored from bricks as well.
00:25:06There's Killalot waiting though.
00:25:07And Cassius always lifted up on those bricks.
00:25:11Needs to get out of there.
00:25:12Look at the puncture marks on top.
00:25:15And he's been pinned down by the lance of Killalot and dragged effortlessly into the air.
00:25:22Goes beyond the ramp.
00:25:25Turns out, oh, brilliant.
00:25:27Superb gymnastics from Cassius.
00:25:30A little backflip with Super.
00:25:33Let's have a look.
00:25:33Hey, how about that?
00:25:35Breakdancing from Rex, Garrett and Cassius.
00:25:40That's terrific.
00:25:43A little bunny hopping away.
00:25:45Magnificent stuff.
00:25:50Needs to get points on the board though.
00:25:53This time Matilda's in an...
00:25:54Ooh, look at that.
00:25:56A tracker's got...
00:25:58A major problem there.
00:26:01Immobilised at the end.
00:26:03Cassius, come on to the platform.
00:26:08That was the most spectacular bits of robots here than ever seen on Robot Wars.
00:26:13What was that about?
00:26:14A self-writing mechanism.
00:26:16A self-writing mechanism?
00:26:17It was like a double somersault in the air.
00:26:19Yeah, well, that's just one of his tricks.
00:26:21Unfortunately, the robot was not really designed for this.
00:26:23I can get bricks jammed under me, so I knew I wouldn't do very good in this one.
00:26:27Well, he didn't do that bad.
00:26:28You know, you got 200 points.
00:26:30Well...
00:26:30So, you might have done enough to get yourself through.
00:26:32But, I mean, the sad thing is I didn't hit a house robot.
00:26:35I mean, that's not worth coming for, really, is it?
00:26:38Ladies and gentlemen, give them a round of applause.
00:26:41Cassius!
00:26:42Obviously, they're dis...
00:26:43Yeah, so that's what the whole show is.
00:26:47And, uh, they didn't do this past season two, but, like, season one and two, there's, like, three stages of every...
00:26:53Everyone, like, there's the gauntlet, which is an obstacle course.
00:26:56There's the trials, which is this thing you just saw.
00:26:59And then there's the arena, where, like, the four remaining robots, they just smash each other's faces in.
00:27:06This sounds...
00:27:07This sounds great.
00:27:08This...
00:27:09I'm gonna watch this.
00:27:11Hey.
00:27:14There's a lot of really hype moments.
00:27:16There's a lot of really hype moments in this show, like, Cassius, uh, uh, self-writing for the...
00:27:22Like, he's, he was the first one to, uh, to self-write.
00:27:27In the third season, Chaos 2...
00:27:28I'm sorry.
00:27:29In the third season, Chaos 2...
00:27:30What?
00:27:31What?
00:27:33What's self-write?
00:27:34Oh, a robot...
00:27:35Usually when a robot gets flipped onto its back...
00:27:38That's it.
00:27:39It's over.
00:27:40Cassius was the first one to manage to, to flip itself back onto the right side.
00:27:49And around season four, self-writing mechanisms became practically standard.
00:27:55Everyone had them.
00:27:56Um, so, uh, another hype moment in, it was in season three.
00:28:02Um, Chaos 2 was against another robot called Firestorm.
00:28:05They're both flippers.
00:28:05They both flip each other over.
00:28:07They both have self-writing mechanisms.
00:28:09And...
00:28:10And so they're up against each other, and it doesn't seem like either one can really defeat the other one,
00:28:16because they just flipped back over.
00:28:18And I heard Michaela watching, and I was like,
00:28:20Okay, this seems like it's gonna end up being a draw,
00:28:22because there's no really...
00:28:23No way they can...
00:28:24Oh my god!
00:28:25And I was like,
00:28:26Chaos 2 flipped him out of the arena, didn't he?
00:28:29Like, yep.
00:28:30That became Chaos 2's bread and butter was just flipping people out of the arena.
00:28:37That sounds great.
00:28:38This sounds borderline comedic.
00:28:42Oh, yeah.
00:28:43Um, let's see.
00:28:44Uh, do we know which episode it was where
00:28:46Chaos 2 flipped someone, flipped Firestorm out of the arena?
00:28:54Oh, yeah.
00:28:54It would have been the grand final,
00:28:56like, right before they went up against Hypnodisc.
00:29:01This was a surprise.
00:29:04Uh, the top...
00:29:05Bombed.
00:29:06The roses.
00:29:09Motors for Firestorm.
00:29:13And an early victim next to...
00:29:15Robot ears, stand by.
00:29:20And it's Chaos 2 against Firestorm.
00:29:23There, the experienced George Francis,
00:29:26and for Firestorm 2 at the controls,
00:29:28Alex was with the Groundhog team
00:29:31in the second series of Robot Wars.
00:29:33Both quick, nippy.
00:29:36Great maneuverability.
00:29:38It's Chaos 2 bumping and barging
00:29:40and turning away side by side,
00:29:42sizing each other up.
00:29:44Chaos 2...
00:29:45Oh, well, he's seen there
00:29:47to get in and underneath.
00:29:48Firestorm is the way to victory.
00:29:50And Chaos 2...
00:29:51Oh!
00:29:54Firestorm...
00:29:54Cease.
00:29:57What a way to go!
00:30:00I don't have any doubt about that,
00:30:02George Francis.
00:30:03What happened to them?
00:30:04You can see them laughing
00:30:07like they had no idea
00:30:08that would happen.
00:30:09They were probably trying
00:30:10to get him up on his side
00:30:11and then, oh!
00:30:12We're out of the arena,
00:30:13out of touch.
00:30:16And out of the final.
00:30:18Chaos 2, delightful.
00:30:21Firestorm, derailed.
00:30:22And deranged.
00:30:25Oh, and there's our...
00:30:26Technical consultants
00:30:28just making sure
00:30:29there's anything left.
00:30:30Sweat the competition, yeah.
00:30:36Cinematic brilliance.
00:30:37Yeah, it's brilliant.
00:30:39Like, I love Robot Wars.
00:30:41Like, Jonathan Pierce,
00:30:42the commentator,
00:30:44really just sells it
00:30:45the whole time.
00:30:46And from season 2 onward,
00:30:48the host, Craig,
00:30:50oh my god,
00:30:51he is hamming it up.
00:30:54The season 1 host
00:30:55was Jeremy Clarkson,
00:30:56of all people.
00:31:00I have no idea
00:31:00who that is,
00:31:01but I have to assume
00:31:02he is really funny.
00:31:03He's the guy from the
00:31:04oh no, anyway, meme.
00:31:07Oh, really?
00:31:08Yep.
00:31:10That's insane.
00:31:14That is the worst robot
00:31:16I've ever seen
00:31:17in my entire life.
00:31:18And it crossed
00:31:19the finish line twice.
00:31:24It was a lovely
00:31:25speed you would notice here.
00:31:28Next time you stream,
00:31:29I hope I'm available
00:31:31to join.
00:31:32Bye, take care.
00:31:33See ya.
00:31:34See ya.
00:31:40Uh, hey, Burr.
00:31:42Hey, um, CD.
00:31:43How are you today?
00:31:44I'm alright.
00:31:46Yeah, thanks.
00:31:47So, it's been nice
00:31:48to see you stream
00:31:49and chat with other people.
00:31:50What was the motivation
00:31:51for doing so?
00:31:52Oh, I kind of had
00:31:53the mindset
00:31:54said to do it
00:31:55for a while.
00:31:56Mostly just because
00:31:58having a freely open
00:31:59and accessible way
00:32:00to get into a voice call
00:32:01with me seemed like
00:32:02it was, it's like
00:32:05catnip for people
00:32:06who want to cause trouble.
00:32:08And so it's like
00:32:09doing that would be
00:32:10doing that would be
00:32:11kind of dangerous.
00:32:13Oh.
00:32:14I'm going to do it.
00:32:15I'm going to do it
00:32:16because I have
00:32:16no self-preservation
00:32:17instinct.
00:32:19That's radical.
00:32:21Going on danger mode.
00:32:24Like, we haven't had,
00:32:25like, any other
00:32:25Yeah.
00:32:29The crowd's like,
00:32:31well, I know one
00:32:33in particular
00:32:33basically works
00:32:34long hours
00:32:35out of pets unlooded.
00:32:37Hey, Vultures,
00:32:38if you're listening to me,
00:32:38can you please
00:32:39notice me?
00:32:41Just kidding.
00:32:42Actually, no.
00:32:43Please notice me.
00:32:44I want some fame.
00:32:45I want some attention.
00:32:46No.
00:32:46Oh, I can show everyone
00:32:48your parody thumbnails.
00:32:50Oh, yeah, yes.
00:32:50Do it.
00:32:51Look, I mean,
00:32:52if you want to,
00:32:52but oh my god.
00:32:54Look,
00:32:55one of my greatest
00:32:56achievements in the
00:32:57CD server
00:32:58is one of my
00:32:59thumbnails being shown
00:33:00in your video
00:33:01and I'm like,
00:33:02oh my god,
00:33:03I'm famous.
00:33:04What is wrong with me?
00:33:06Okay, so,
00:33:07let's see.
00:33:08I have so many
00:33:09thumbnails.
00:33:11That's not right.
00:33:18Actually,
00:33:19it's not,
00:33:20making those
00:33:21thumbnail parodies
00:33:21are very easy
00:33:22because YouTube
00:33:23system is so,
00:33:26it's so repetitive
00:33:28that you can see
00:33:28the pattern.
00:33:29We're about to do it.
00:33:31So this was the
00:33:32first one,
00:33:33just making fun
00:33:34of, like,
00:33:35all the,
00:33:35like,
00:33:36basically,
00:33:37this is every
00:33:37drama video,
00:33:38you know?
00:33:40Oh, fun fact.
00:33:40Did you know that
00:33:41the original version
00:33:42was a bit more
00:33:43violent?
00:33:44Oh.
00:33:45Like,
00:33:46sadly,
00:33:47for example,
00:33:48there was some
00:33:48liquid behind
00:33:49Liar,
00:33:50and I thought it
00:33:51was a bit too
00:33:52much for the
00:33:53server,
00:33:53or in general,
00:33:54so I remove it.
00:33:55And we have
00:33:58this one for
00:33:59basically the,
00:34:00uh,
00:34:00the clout-chasing
00:34:01reaction stream
00:34:02because they all
00:34:03look the same.
00:34:05I got inspiration
00:34:05from Antony.
00:34:08Oh,
00:34:08this one?
00:34:09Creator got
00:34:10worse.
00:34:11It's always,
00:34:12like,
00:34:12the glitchy image
00:34:14too.
00:34:18This film is a
00:34:19failure.
00:34:20Ten million
00:34:21flop.
00:34:22Every time
00:34:23Elio is
00:34:23talk about,
00:34:24it's all about
00:34:25this.
00:34:26Fun fact,
00:34:27when Elio,
00:34:28Pixar Elio was
00:34:29released,
00:34:30Saber's Park had
00:34:30a similar thumbnail,
00:34:32just with
00:34:33dollar,
00:34:34with the minus
00:34:35dollar signs
00:34:36everywhere,
00:34:36and I was like,
00:34:38wow,
00:34:39I am the
00:34:40Simpsons of the
00:34:41thumbnail parody.
00:34:42I,
00:34:42I predict the
00:34:43future.
00:34:46Furry reply,
00:34:47furry reply
00:34:48reply guy needs
00:34:49to weigh in on
00:34:50the latest drama.
00:34:51Oh,
00:34:52this is a personal
00:34:52one because I've
00:34:53been,
00:34:53I've been in the
00:34:54furry,
00:34:55furry YouTube
00:34:56fandom for
00:34:56before,
00:34:57and they
00:34:57always have
00:34:58this kind
00:34:59of pose
00:35:00on their
00:35:00puppet.
00:35:04You know,
00:35:05things are
00:35:05getting serious
00:35:06when the
00:35:06cartoon avatar
00:35:07crosses his
00:35:07arms.
00:35:09Yes.
00:35:13I'm guessing
00:35:14this came about
00:35:15as a result of
00:35:15has-been hotel
00:35:16discourse.
00:35:17Yes,
00:35:18well,
00:35:19many things,
00:35:20for example,
00:35:20yes,
00:35:20the,
00:35:21who is
00:35:23the spider
00:35:23person?
00:35:24Angel Dust.
00:35:25Angel Dust.
00:35:26Angel Dust.
00:35:28Then,
00:35:29the,
00:35:30the peak
00:35:30fiction game,
00:35:32and then there's
00:35:32other things,
00:35:34like the
00:35:34skibbity toilet.
00:35:35Oh,
00:35:36right,
00:35:36the tilted
00:35:37head and the
00:35:37cat mouth.
00:35:38Oh,
00:35:38shit,
00:35:38I did not
00:35:39make that
00:35:39connection.
00:35:41Yes,
00:35:41I mean,
00:35:42Nooblord has,
00:35:43actually,
00:35:43it's a double
00:35:44thumbnail.
00:35:45It's this one,
00:35:45and then there's
00:35:46the girl on the
00:35:47bed,
00:35:47which is,
00:35:49it is,
00:35:49I,
00:35:50okay,
00:35:51sorry,
00:35:52fetishes,
00:35:53doom,
00:35:54I'm here,
00:35:55I get what
00:35:56those are.
00:35:56What's the one
00:35:57on the far left?
00:35:58Oh.
00:35:59It's made in
00:35:59abyss.
00:36:01Oh,
00:36:01god.
00:36:03Abysmal,
00:36:04made in abyss.
00:36:05Oh,
00:36:05okay.
00:36:07Oh,
00:36:07then there's this
00:36:07one.
00:36:08There's an entire
00:36:08genre of girls
00:36:10sitting on her
00:36:11bed,
00:36:11rambling about,
00:36:13rambling about
00:36:14something that she,
00:36:15rambling about
00:36:16something that
00:36:16nobody cares
00:36:17about.
00:36:21My first thought
00:36:22when I saw this
00:36:22was Jenny Nicholson.
00:36:24Oh,
00:36:24yeah.
00:36:31I don't know
00:36:32something about
00:36:33like this.
00:36:36White woman
00:36:37beside shelf
00:36:38of one.
00:36:42I feel like
00:36:43this is someone's
00:36:44fetish as well.
00:36:45how Zara Z
00:36:48started out
00:36:48and now sits
00:36:49in some
00:36:49psychiatric office.
00:36:50Oh,
00:36:51that's weird.
00:36:52Wait,
00:36:52really?
00:36:53Oh,
00:36:53there's a new
00:36:53version of that
00:36:55where when that
00:36:55person decides
00:36:56they're going to
00:36:56take part in
00:36:57drama.
00:36:59Guess which
00:37:00person took
00:37:00inspiration for
00:37:01the design of
00:37:02the woman
00:37:03on the thumbnail.
00:37:05I assume
00:37:06Rachel?
00:37:07Ethel.
00:37:09Oh,
00:37:09Ethel.
00:37:11Ethel Thurston,
00:37:12Essence of Thought.
00:37:13Oh,
00:37:15this one
00:37:16when a movie
00:37:17gets review
00:37:18bombed on
00:37:19Rotten Tomatoes.
00:37:25Oh,
00:37:26the inspiration
00:37:27for this one
00:37:28was pretty
00:37:28fucking obvious.
00:37:30Yes.
00:37:32And I had the
00:37:34opportunity
00:37:34to use my
00:37:36revolutionary girl
00:37:37Yutenna
00:37:37influence
00:37:38for making
00:37:39the thumbnail.
00:37:40Oh,
00:37:40yeah.
00:37:40So,
00:37:40there's that.
00:37:42Yeah,
00:37:42all the drama
00:37:43videos where you
00:37:44got like the
00:37:44person's rant
00:37:45sona just
00:37:46looking absolutely
00:37:47mortified.
00:37:53Because like
00:37:53these thumbnails
00:37:54are all the same.
00:37:55I've seen this
00:37:56one more than
00:37:57a few times.
00:38:01Double face
00:38:01itch.
00:38:05Oh,
00:38:07I was going
00:38:13we were going
00:38:14over seeing
00:38:15this particular
00:38:16thumbnail way
00:38:17too fucking
00:38:17often.
00:38:21I mean,
00:38:25that was a
00:38:31favorite for me.
00:38:32I like the
00:38:33typography,
00:38:33the writing.
00:38:34right.
00:38:49God,
00:38:49what video
00:38:50was that?
00:38:55The thumbnail?
00:38:56No,
00:38:56hold on,
00:38:57one second.
00:38:57There's an
00:38:58image I showed
00:38:59it,
00:38:59I think I may
00:39:00have showed
00:39:00it in a
00:39:00stream a
00:39:01little while
00:39:02back,
00:39:02but
00:39:04Oh,
00:39:09okay,
00:39:09right.
00:39:10How to spot a
00:39:10smear.
00:39:12Actually,
00:39:14yeah,
00:39:14yeah,
00:39:15that's a
00:39:16Tumblr post,
00:39:17actually.
00:39:21Here it is.
00:39:22I showed
00:39:22this before,
00:39:24but like,
00:39:25this is a
00:39:29genre I am
00:39:30getting real
00:39:30fucking sick
00:39:31of seeing
00:39:32everywhere.
00:39:34Like,
00:39:34one of you
00:39:35needs to,
00:39:35one of you
00:39:36needs to touch
00:39:37grass,
00:39:37like,
00:39:37one of you,
00:39:38any one of you
00:39:39will do,
00:39:39but one of you
00:39:40needs to touch
00:39:41grass and stop
00:39:42acting like the
00:39:42last three TikToks
00:39:44you saw is
00:39:45evidence that
00:39:45society is on
00:39:46its way to
00:39:46collapse.
00:39:48I think we need
00:39:48to smoke weed.
00:39:50One of you
00:39:51needs to touch
00:39:52grass,
00:39:52and it
00:39:52should be
00:39:53this guy
00:39:53because he
00:39:54looks AI
00:39:54generated.
00:39:58Wait,
00:39:58wait,
00:39:59I think it's
00:40:00the same image.
00:40:01This YouTuber
00:40:02used a similar
00:40:03expression for
00:40:04another video
00:40:06of him.
00:40:09Yeah,
00:40:09they all use
00:40:10the same one.
00:40:11I won't be
00:40:11surprised if
00:40:12it was,
00:40:13if,
00:40:14you know,
00:40:15those Mr.
00:40:16Beast thumbnail
00:40:17video,
00:40:18thumbnails,
00:40:18YouTube thumbnails
00:40:19of Mr.
00:40:20Beast where
00:40:20they have the
00:40:21same,
00:40:21Mr.
00:40:22Beast photo.
00:40:24That's what
00:40:24it feels like.
00:40:29I don't know
00:40:30if things pop
00:40:30up too much.
00:40:31I know it's
00:40:31time to cleanse
00:40:32my watch history.
00:40:33Oh,
00:40:33yeah.
00:40:34Regularly clear
00:40:34your watch
00:40:35history,
00:40:35otherwise you're
00:40:36going to get
00:40:36garbage.
00:40:39Oh,
00:40:40yeah,
00:40:40this is,
00:40:41this is,
00:40:41this is,
00:40:41yeah,
00:40:43this is,
00:40:44this is,
00:40:45this is the
00:40:46thumbnail you
00:40:47see when a
00:40:47trans,
00:40:47when a trans
00:40:48woman,
00:40:49when a trans
00:40:49woman gets
00:40:50accused of
00:40:50anything.
00:40:51Oh,
00:40:52have you seen
00:40:52the,
00:40:52did you got
00:40:53the second,
00:40:55the sequel
00:40:56of the,
00:40:57this,
00:40:58this parody?
00:41:00When,
00:41:00yes,
00:41:02when Turkey Tom
00:41:03makes a video
00:41:04out of it.
00:41:05Oh,
00:41:05yeah.
00:41:07Turkey Tom is
00:41:07never the first
00:41:08person to make
00:41:09a video out of it.
00:41:09I had people,
00:41:10I saw somebody
00:41:11basically going,
00:41:12it's like,
00:41:12you know,
00:41:13Turkey Tom will
00:41:13do a video on
00:41:14Poppy and Xena,
00:41:15how come he
00:41:15won't do one
00:41:16on CD Call?
00:41:17and it's like,
00:41:18it's pretty obvious
00:41:19he was waiting
00:41:19for someone else
00:41:20to do one
00:41:20so he could
00:41:21plagiarize it.
00:41:22Yeah,
00:41:23exactly.
00:41:25He needed to
00:41:26wait for
00:41:27John the King
00:41:27to drop the,
00:41:30to drop the video.
00:41:31Anyway,
00:41:31enough about them.
00:41:34Oh,
00:41:34yeah,
00:41:34never mind.
00:41:35Sorry.
00:41:40And I kid you not,
00:41:41those three creators
00:41:41had the same
00:41:42fucking TikToks
00:41:43in them.
00:41:43Yeah,
00:41:44because those
00:41:45were the only ones
00:41:46that existed.
00:41:46Yeah.
00:41:47One second.
00:41:59Oh,
00:41:59yeah,
00:41:59those thumbnails are
00:42:00like,
00:42:02haven't.
00:42:05Very much
00:42:06on the money.
00:42:07done.
00:42:12Yeah.
00:42:27Same.
00:42:27Yeah.
00:42:27And I'm
00:42:28like,
00:42:29Oh,
00:42:30yeah.
00:42:31Oh,
00:42:31yeah.
00:42:32Yeah.
00:42:33All right, I'm back.
00:42:42Is there internet presence?
00:42:43Where do you post it?
00:42:44Post it.
00:42:44He posted these in the patron server.
00:42:47Yeah.
00:43:03Yeah, it's just, there's a lot of, uh, it kind of all encompasses the term grievance media, honestly.
00:43:17It feels just too boring.
00:43:23Yep.
00:43:24I saw three different videos covering the subject of boy moms, and they all had the same fucking TikToks from the same person in them.
00:43:47And I kind of basically came to the realization, I had to look up.
00:43:51Uh, it's like, so many people were so angry about it, because, yeah, boy moms are creepy.
00:43:55But then I had to stop, and I looked up, do you get ad revenue?
00:44:00Ferb, you're, someone's yelling in the background.
00:44:03Oh, wait, wait, let me, wait, wait, hold on.
00:44:05So I had to look it up.
00:44:07Do you get ad revenue on TikTok?
00:44:10And it came up, yes.
00:44:12It was like, ah, okay, they're farming engagement.
00:44:16They're not serious.
00:44:19Yeah, exactly.
00:44:21How to know if they're doing it for money, just look at their, look at their description, look at their YouTube description.
00:44:29Do they have a Patreon that's a cloud chaser, or it's a grifter?
00:44:34Do they put their Patreon on the description of the video?
00:44:37It's the same thing, so it's easy to recognize it.
00:44:40Like, they showed one of this woman basically, like, uh, like, lip-syncing to a song and doing, like, this whole, like, fucking pantomime with her husband, daughter, and son.
00:44:50And it's like, guys, come the fuck on.
00:44:53One of the people who did a video on this woman has another video just titled, stop falling for rage bait.
00:45:01And, like, girl, your whole career is falling for rage bait.
00:45:06Uh, it's a similar thing to Trad Wife TikTok.
00:45:20Like, there is no genuine Trad Wife TikTok.
00:45:25Those people are making fetish content.
00:45:29They're making fetish content for incels.
00:45:32And making bank doing it.
00:45:36I find it interesting that rage bait is, to me, such an interesting term.
00:45:52Because it's such an obvious passing of responsibility.
00:45:56Like, when you call a video, I have, I have seen some of the most milquetoast videos called rage bait.
00:46:01And, like, maybe you guys need to just stop being so angry all the time.
00:46:10Like, if a video of someone cutting all the soles off their shoes so they can go barefoot in places that don't allow you to go barefoot.
00:46:17If that pisses you off, you do not have enough going on in your life.
00:46:21Like, you need more problems.
00:46:23Your life needs to be going significantly worse.
00:46:29You need to, like, you need to, like, catch a wasting illness, or lose a limb, or get fired from your job, or get cheated on.
00:46:38Just something to give you something to do and think about.
00:46:42Yeah, but the fact that it is, the fact that there is a mass audience for this kind of shit, like, it seems like it's a societal problem, you know?
00:46:55The kicker is, I don't really think a lot of people are really falling for it, or getting genuinely angry.
00:47:02They, uh, here's the important part.
00:47:06People's ability to figure out when they're being fucked with, or their ability to read sarcasm, is almost wholly dependent on what's most beneficial to them.
00:47:18If they see obvious rage bait, they will take it as completely seriously if it means they get to put someone in their place.
00:47:26Hmm.
00:47:37It's one of the reasons conservatives are all, it's always so easy for conservatives and reactionaries to just, like, bait debates and engagement from liberals, because liberals really like putting someone in their place.
00:47:53Because they live for the day, an ignorant fool gets dunked on, which is then immediately taken advantage of.
00:48:01Hmm.
00:48:02My, uh, my, uh...
00:48:11I, like, people always ask me, like, what's your opinion on this sensitive topic?
00:48:15And if it's a topic that doesn't, that is not at present affecting me in, uh, affecting me in some way,
00:48:22then my opinion on it is I have more important things to do than worry about it.
00:48:27Huh, I see, I see.
00:48:31I see.
00:48:31They need some character development.
00:48:46Put those guys into some...
00:48:47Oh, yeah, they need to build character.
00:48:50They need Calvin's dad's brand of building character.
00:48:53They need experience.
00:49:06Hey, so, I hope that my, me talking about the thumbnails didn't, you know, put the mood down in the stream.
00:49:25No, it's fine.
00:49:26Like, the whole point is, you can come talk to me about whatever you want.
00:49:30All right, I see, I see.
00:49:33Ugh.
00:49:34Ugh.
00:49:36All right, well, the floor is open to anyone else who wants to hop in.
00:50:04Mm-hmm.
00:50:05Mm-hmm.
00:50:06Oh, Fire Titan.
00:50:15Welcome back.
00:50:16Oh.
00:50:17Hello.
00:50:19All right.
00:50:23Crap, I accidentally came by accident, uh...
00:50:27But I didn't want to talk to you.
00:50:33Uh, all right.
00:50:34Okay.
00:50:36I just wanted to ask, how was it like to come and make it for you, Bruce?
00:50:46Um, you're cutting out.
00:50:47I'm having a hard time understanding you.
00:50:51Uh...
00:50:51About one, I just wanted to say that you're really bloody cool.
00:50:58I really like you.
00:50:58Oh, thank you.
00:51:00Oh, thank you.
00:51:00And second, I just wanted to talk about what a character or event in your life made me feel like you finally were trans.
00:51:13What characters or people in my life made me realize I was trans?
00:51:20Yes.
00:51:22Oh, uh, yeah.
00:51:24It was an old friend of mine.
00:51:26Um, uh, I won't give her name because she seems to have disappeared off of, uh, social media.
00:51:30So, uh, it was an old friend of mine.
00:51:34Um, she's no longer around, but she is dearly missed.
00:51:39Um...
00:51:40And it was mostly just hanging out with her, like, a lot, uh, which ended up, which...
00:51:50And she kind of just, she kind of, I think she clocked me as, as a, uh, as trans.
00:51:58Because she started kind of, like, poking at the, uh, she, she kind of started poking at it.
00:52:06Occasionally, when she would call me, uh, occasionally, she would just call me she.
00:52:10I'd make a terrible joke and she would go, bad girl.
00:52:18Sweet.
00:52:25And, uh, she was, uh, she was actually, when I start, uh, uh...
00:52:28She was actually the one who came up with, uh, calling myself Lily.
00:52:34I just asked her, what would be a good femme name for me?
00:52:36And she said, hmm, Lillian.
00:52:46That's...
00:52:46Oh, that's awesome!
00:52:52That's nice.
00:52:53So, by the way, uh, I have to go, but thanks for letting me join.
00:52:57Have a nice day.
00:52:57Have a nice day.
00:53:02Ow.
00:53:05Try it a little bit.
00:53:06Ow.
00:53:21Ow.
00:53:22Ow.
00:53:22Ow.
00:53:27Hello, Lemon.
00:53:37You have the floor.
00:53:39You have the floor.
00:53:41You have the floor.
00:53:42Bitch.
00:53:42No, she was the floor.
00:53:52You have the floor.
00:53:54I mean, no, I didn't.
00:53:54You have the floor.
00:53:55We take my floor.
00:53:56We should...
00:53:57I recreate it.
00:53:58I'm going to run.
00:53:58I'm the floor.
00:53:59I'm the floor.
00:54:00I've beenして, I did.
00:54:02I may be nice.
00:54:03There's no room.
00:54:04Oh, we're campers.
00:54:05I'm the floor.
00:54:06All right.
00:54:07And things.
00:54:07That's okay, take your time.
00:54:37Hi.
00:54:57Hello.
00:54:59Sorry, I'm a bit nervous and also I have my laptop is working very, I don't know, it's lagging and I couldn't open the mic.
00:55:19That's all right, take your time.
00:55:29Yeah, so I just want to say sometime I don't know what happened.
00:55:39I don't know what happened to your Tumblr account, but sometime ago, I told you that I really liked your video about Star Wars, you know, the one with video is about Star Wars.
00:55:53Oh, yeah, the one that's about Star Wars, but is also about streaming.
00:55:57Yeah, and I never actually told you why I didn't actually argument why I didn't.
00:56:07I liked the video, so I would like to do it now.
00:56:11Oh, sure, go ahead.
00:56:14I do enjoy praise.
00:56:16So, you know, I liked that it was focusing on the very specific topic of a problem from not only the Star Wars industry, but the general industry for entertainment like video games and films.
00:56:38And the way it said way to think about Star Wars to general TV and films, I really liked it.
00:56:48I don't know how to explain what you did there, but I think it became my favorite video.
00:56:54The fact that all of these seemingly separate topics really just kind of came together.
00:57:00Yeah, exactly.
00:57:04And also, thank you, all your videos, even your own ones that you say that you think are bad.
00:57:14But actually, they kind of helped me with writing and stuff.
00:57:18I feel for my characters.
00:57:22I didn't know before finding a channel, I didn't know how to structure my character arcs and how to make them more unique.
00:57:32Every single video of yours helped me, actually.
00:57:36Aw, thank you.
00:57:40No problem.
00:58:00Hi, I'm back, if it's okay to add to that?
00:58:03Yeah, it's okay.
00:58:04Okay.
00:58:05What the other person just said.
00:58:07So, speaking of videos that helped.
00:58:10So, I don't know if you recall, but back when a lot of stuff was coming out about Zack K's, or Toon Critic, I guess, during that time.
00:58:24Um, I want to thank you for making that video.
00:58:28I was the Anon that sent you the, um, uh, how far back it went.
00:58:34Um, and, uh, I actually was one of the few that knew Zack, um, well, few.
00:58:42I was one of the original people that knew Zack back on fanfiction.net.
00:58:46Um, and I, I did basically experience his abuse.
00:58:51I was, um, I was lucky to never meet him face to face.
00:58:55Um, um, you know, unlike some other, other people.
00:58:58But, um, I, yeah, I, I knew him back then.
00:59:04Um, and it, it was just, I remember when all that came out and you, and you saw the Skype logs, uh, of what he did and how he, like, basically was grooming victims.
00:59:16It felt like I was all the way back in 2006 reading those logs.
00:59:21Cause I'm just thinking, holy crap, he's doing the same freaking thing he did to me as he doing with all these other kids.
00:59:30It just, yeah, well, anyway, thank you for, for that, for doing that.
00:59:38Yeah, no problem.
00:59:39Yeah.
00:59:40Um, and then another thing I wanted to ask was, uh, how you've been doing on your other projects.
00:59:48Um, as far as, like, writing goes.
00:59:51I know you did the Sith Resurgence a while ago, and then you did, uh, Iris and Kira stories.
00:59:58Um, are you doing anything else at the moment, or is that, like, classified?
01:00:05Uh, what I've been mostly working on is I kind of want to make Iris and Kira an actual book.
01:00:11The only problem is I am having trouble coming up with an actual fucking plot.
01:00:15Uh, I, I did have this, I, I did have this moment of clarity where I kind of thought, oh, I know.
01:00:23I'll do it like Riding in Cars with Boys, where it's actually about these girls' lives together.
01:00:29Um, and it's done, it's told largely through flashbacks around, uh, a present day framing device.
01:00:39That's really cool.
01:00:40Um, yeah, I have some writing projects that have been in the back burner for a little while.
01:00:46Um, a part of it, it, for me, is, um, uh, just kind of finding the courage to bring my project to, to a publisher or self-publishers.
01:00:58Or self-publishing or something.
01:01:01Just cause, um, even though I've been getting better at it, uh, uh, since, you know, since I was a kid, I still have, you know, issues taking criticism.
01:01:13And just kind of realizing that, hey, um, I'm not the only one that can write.
01:01:20Uh, other, other people can have their input.
01:01:22And in fact, especially if I'm writing something that's kind of outside my, um, my experience, I'm going to need, uh, like other people who are in these communities to kind of just be sensitivity readers or beta readers, I guess.
01:01:39And just kind of say, hey, this is accurate or no, this isn't accurate or oh, this seems pretty stereotypical and that kind of thing.
01:01:46Um, so that, that's a, that's something I need to work on.
01:01:51Um, um, with, uh, Iris and Kira, like, are, are you getting, uh, beta readers or sensitivity readers for different things or?
01:02:04Uh, I am not, I am going completely out.
01:02:09Like the sensitivity reader is me.
01:02:11I've, uh, yeah, I'm not, I'm not really interested in involving other people.
01:02:16I have no intention on sending this to like a straight up publisher, uh, because I have no desire to be a, an officially published author.
01:02:25I would probably just, if I managed to get this book finished, I would throw it up for heroic pay for, uh, for cryptid patrons and let people buy it.
01:02:33Uh, I'd probably throw it up for legacy patrons and let people buy it for seven bucks.
01:02:39Okay.
01:02:43Yeah.
01:02:44Uh, that's all I came in here to say.
01:02:46All right.
01:02:47Thank you again.
01:02:48All right.
01:02:49Bye.
01:02:50Bye-bye.
01:02:51Uh, let me get that out of here.
01:03:06Anyway, I have a question.
01:03:09Uh, go right ahead.
01:03:12Anyway, you heard one, obviously you heard the news team that you were supposed to have a spinoff, right?
01:03:16You have any interest in it?
01:03:18Um,
01:03:19a passing
01:03:22being completely honest
01:03:24I heard
01:03:27oh yeah a new Steven Universe show has been
01:03:29announced and I was like oh god
01:03:32yeah it's Lars of the Stars
01:03:33oh okay
01:03:35I remember
01:03:37like back in your big video you said
01:03:40you weren't really a big fan of Lars
01:03:41I never really liked Lars
01:03:44pre
01:03:45you know I never really liked Lars
01:03:47as he was originally written when they
01:03:49killed him off resurrected him and then
01:03:51replaced him with Zaphod Beelbrox
01:03:53I actually thought he was pretty funny
01:03:55oh yeah
01:03:56my main problem with Lars
01:03:59is the problem I had for the universe
01:04:01I get that
01:04:06that would imply that
01:04:07that would imply that
01:04:08Becky wants to do anything with the gems at all
01:04:11if she was going to do something with Paradox
01:04:15she'd have done it in the show
01:04:16yeah I think that was
01:04:18to be fair
01:04:19like when it comes to Lars
01:04:21and the off course
01:04:21I feel like they are the folks
01:04:23on gems
01:04:23because Lars
01:04:24Lars is a character
01:04:25it's a world of objects
01:04:27it's not like Steven
01:04:28where it's like
01:04:28oh he's half a gem
01:04:30half a human
01:04:30and a lot of like
01:04:31trying to be like
01:04:32well the biggest issue
01:04:35with Steven Universe
01:04:36was Steven himself
01:04:37and a lot of the
01:04:38a lot of the bad philosophy
01:04:40that went along with him
01:04:41so moving to a new character
01:04:44with a new
01:04:44with a new
01:04:45thought process
01:04:46and a new approach
01:04:47and
01:04:48basically making a show
01:04:50about them speeding
01:04:51their way back to earth
01:04:52that'd be cool
01:04:53yeah
01:04:55also
01:04:55speaking with Steven
01:04:56I know you don't like Steven
01:04:58but keep going deaf into that
01:04:59because
01:04:59honestly I find that take
01:05:01it's so interesting
01:05:02in my opinion
01:05:03and I'm being genuine
01:05:04when I say this
01:05:04like
01:05:06and Steven's like
01:05:07like
01:05:08like Avatar
01:05:08where it's like
01:05:09he's his university beloved
01:05:11so you don't hear anything
01:05:13bad enough
01:05:14I'm gonna be honest
01:05:14that's boring
01:05:15so like
01:05:16I want to hear you
01:05:17take my Steven
01:05:17why do you think
01:05:18he's a bad character
01:05:19Steven's a bad character
01:05:23because the story
01:05:23basically
01:05:24the story bends over
01:05:25backwards to placate him
01:05:26at every
01:05:27at every opportunity
01:05:28he's one of those
01:05:29white characters
01:05:30whose whole shtick
01:05:31is being the goodest good
01:05:32you know
01:05:33he's like
01:05:34Anduin Wren
01:05:35I mean
01:05:40yeah
01:05:40I mean
01:05:41I feel like they do
01:05:42kind of break that
01:05:42Steven Universe future
01:05:43where you know
01:05:44they try to make him
01:05:45do like more mistakes
01:05:46like for example
01:05:47marrying Connie
01:05:48Well see the problem
01:05:51the problem is
01:05:52is that when he does
01:05:53make mistakes
01:05:54it's never because
01:05:55he is a flawed person
01:05:57it's because
01:05:58he's
01:05:59losing his fucking mind
01:06:05so
01:06:05all I know
01:06:06what you're saying
01:06:07yeah
01:06:07everything you say
01:06:09Steven makes
01:06:09you can always say
01:06:10oh it's because of this
01:06:12like
01:06:12this
01:06:13and
01:06:13you can always take
01:06:15some responsibility
01:06:15on this Steven
01:06:16yeah
01:06:16there always has to
01:06:17there always has to be
01:06:18something absolving him
01:06:20of
01:06:20of responsibility
01:06:21in some way
01:06:22there's always something
01:06:23that basically
01:06:24where it goes
01:06:24it's not entirely
01:06:26his fault
01:06:27yeah
01:06:28and
01:06:29with a character
01:06:30who is so
01:06:31frequently wrong
01:06:32like objective
01:06:33on an objective level
01:06:35with a character
01:06:35who is so frequently
01:06:36wrong about so many
01:06:37things
01:06:38it just becomes
01:06:39insufferable
01:06:39it's like watching
01:06:40a show about
01:06:41a flat earther
01:06:42being vindicated
01:06:43I get that
01:06:47so
01:06:48so how would you
01:06:49handle
01:06:49the spinoff
01:06:50I know you want
01:06:52how would I
01:06:54how would I
01:06:55handle it
01:06:55I would look at
01:06:57I would look at
01:06:57Star Trek Voyager
01:06:58and say
01:06:58do that
01:07:00so I
01:07:02said
01:07:02I don't
01:07:02I don't
01:07:05political
01:07:05political
01:07:06like
01:07:07symbolism
01:07:08to the real world
01:07:09sometimes
01:07:13some
01:07:14some episodes
01:07:15yes
01:07:15some episodes
01:07:16do
01:07:16oh I get that
01:07:20you wouldn't be like
01:07:21kind of like a classic
01:07:21sitcom
01:07:22like Family Matters
01:07:23where they have
01:07:23some you know
01:07:24very special episodes
01:07:25like most of the time
01:07:26no no I mean
01:07:27literally like
01:07:28Star Trek Voyager
01:07:29I haven't seen it
01:07:34so
01:07:34I'll take a word
01:07:35about it
01:07:36in today
01:07:37so
01:07:40that's all
01:07:46thank you
01:07:47thanks for
01:07:48thanks
01:07:49thanks for stopping

01:08:33okay
01:08:35okay so
01:08:36I have
01:08:37well I have a lot
01:08:38of questions
01:08:38actually
01:08:39but I'm
01:08:40gonna try and
01:08:42keep it to
01:08:43like
01:08:43a few
01:08:45because I gotta
01:08:45speedaddle in a few
01:08:47minutes for work
01:08:47um
01:08:48one
01:08:50and
01:08:51um
01:08:51I
01:08:57kind of
01:08:58hmm
01:08:59actually I'm gonna
01:09:00start off with
01:09:01like a silly
01:09:02not very important
01:09:03one
01:09:03uh
01:09:04I have trouble
01:09:05getting into
01:09:06like Kingdom Hearts
01:09:07so do you have
01:09:08any tips
01:09:09to uh
01:09:10get into
01:09:10playing the
01:09:11games
01:09:11because
01:09:11I own all
01:09:12of them
01:09:13it's just
01:09:13kind of a
01:09:13brick wall
01:09:14well what is it
01:09:16that's uh
01:09:16getting you stuck
01:09:17uh
01:09:20well my first
01:09:21time ever
01:09:21playing one
01:09:22I got uh
01:09:23the final mix
01:09:24version of
01:09:25Kingdom Hearts
01:09:261
01:09:26and I was like
01:09:2716 when I
01:09:28first played it
01:09:29so I was like
01:09:30oh if it's
01:09:31final mix
01:09:31I better play
01:09:32final mix
01:09:33mode
01:09:33because that's
01:09:34obviously the way
01:09:35it's meant to be
01:09:36played
01:09:36okay uh
01:09:39first things first
01:09:40there is no
01:09:41there is no
01:09:41intended experience
01:09:43you play at the
01:09:43difficulty setting
01:09:44you're most
01:09:45comfortable with
01:09:45yeah I learned
01:09:48that
01:09:49thank you though
01:09:50uh
01:09:51and
01:09:51after that
01:09:52it's just
01:09:53kind of
01:09:54I have
01:09:55I
01:09:55I don't have a
01:09:57lot of patience
01:09:57when playing games
01:09:58if I'm
01:09:58if I'm
01:09:59going to be
01:10:00real
01:10:00so
01:10:00like every
01:10:01time I've
01:10:02tried to
01:10:02gone back
01:10:02tried to go
01:10:04back to
01:10:04playing the
01:10:05games
01:10:05I just
01:10:05kind of
01:10:06get stuck
01:10:06at
01:10:06Traverse
01:10:07Town
01:10:07what is it
01:10:09about Traverse
01:10:09Town that
01:10:10gets you
01:10:10stuck
01:10:10I
01:10:13I'll be
01:10:14honest I
01:10:15just get
01:10:15confused
01:10:15like where
01:10:16is everything
01:10:17I go in a
01:10:18door okay
01:10:19I'm like in a
01:10:20hallway then I
01:10:21go out the
01:10:21door and I'm
01:10:21outside the
01:10:22hallway I get
01:10:23that and I
01:10:23run around the
01:10:24entire thing and
01:10:25I'm just
01:10:25uh
01:10:27not sure what
01:10:28I'm supposed to
01:10:28do
01:10:28yeah Kingdom
01:10:29Arts 1 has a
01:10:30lot of maze
01:10:30like environments
01:10:31there's a lot of
01:10:32exploration and
01:10:33platforming they
01:10:34kind of do away
01:10:35with that in
01:10:35later games
01:10:36um honestly
01:10:38I would say
01:10:39in that case
01:10:40the bet there's
01:10:40no shame in
01:10:41looking up a
01:10:41walkthrough
01:10:42first time I
01:10:43played Kingdom
01:10:44Hearts I
01:10:44looked up a
01:10:45lot of
01:10:45walkthroughs
01:10:47okay well
01:10:50that's good
01:10:51thank you for
01:10:51that um and
01:10:52now the one
01:10:55of the bigger
01:10:55things I was
01:10:56hoping to talk
01:10:58across is um
01:10:59talk across
01:11:00that's not a
01:11:01word
01:11:01whatever um
01:11:04um
01:11:06basically for
01:11:07a few
01:11:08for a few
01:11:09years now
01:11:10I've known
01:11:11I am
01:11:12trans I'm
01:11:13a girl
01:11:13and uh
01:11:16one of
01:11:16my
01:11:16uh and
01:11:19a few of
01:11:20my friends
01:11:21know and
01:11:22my sister
01:11:23knows when
01:11:23I told her
01:11:24she just
01:11:24responded with
01:11:25does it
01:11:26look like I
01:11:26care about
01:11:27gender with
01:11:27like a
01:11:28really close
01:11:29up picture
01:11:29of her
01:11:30face
01:11:30and I've
01:11:34told my
01:11:34uncle is
01:11:35that but I
01:11:35haven't told
01:11:36my parents
01:11:36and I'm
01:11:38scared not
01:11:39necessarily
01:11:39because I
01:11:39have a reason
01:11:40to be scared
01:11:41but more
01:11:42so
01:11:42so if
01:11:45uh
01:11:45got any
01:11:47uh any
01:11:48kind of
01:11:49tips for
01:11:49helping me
01:11:50open up
01:11:53I guess
01:11:54um
01:11:55apologies
01:11:57my attention
01:11:58drifted
01:11:58slightly could
01:11:59you repeat
01:11:59what you
01:11:59said
01:11:59uh
01:12:03I've
01:12:04known
01:12:04for
01:12:05a few
01:12:06for
01:12:06since like
01:12:072023
01:12:08that I'm
01:12:09a girl
01:12:09and I'm
01:12:10very scared
01:12:11to tell my
01:12:12parents
01:12:12although I
01:12:12have no
01:12:13reason to
01:12:13be but
01:12:13I just
01:12:14do not
01:12:15know how
01:12:15they'll
01:12:15react
01:12:16so do
01:12:16you got
01:12:17any like
01:12:17any kind
01:12:19of tips
01:12:20to like
01:12:21help
01:12:21hopefully not
01:12:22make it too
01:12:23much of a
01:12:23shock to
01:12:24them
01:12:24um
01:12:27unfortunately
01:12:28no
01:12:29your parents
01:12:29probably
01:12:30have an
01:12:31idea in
01:12:31their head
01:12:32about how
01:12:32you're going
01:12:33about what
01:12:34you're going
01:12:34to be like
01:12:35and when
01:12:36you defy
01:12:36that it's
01:12:37it's gonna
01:12:38be difficult
01:12:39for them to
01:12:39immediately accept
01:12:41it at first
01:12:41like their
01:12:42first instinct
01:12:43is going to
01:12:43be to try
01:12:45and put
01:12:45you in
01:12:46their first
01:12:46instinct is
01:12:47going to view
01:12:47you as a
01:12:48train that's
01:12:49been derailed
01:12:49that needs to
01:12:50be put back
01:12:51on the tracks
01:12:51hmm
01:12:54okay
01:12:55um
01:12:56well
01:12:58that's
01:12:59I mean
01:13:02if we're
01:13:02being fair
01:13:03my dad
01:13:03always makes
01:13:04jokes about
01:13:04me being
01:13:05gay
01:13:05because I
01:13:05don't
01:13:06find any
01:13:07interest in
01:13:07women but
01:13:08it's not
01:13:08because I
01:13:09don't find
01:13:09any interest
01:13:10in women
01:13:10it's just
01:13:11I might
01:13:12be also
01:13:13be asexual
01:13:14but that
01:13:14is besides
01:13:15the point
01:13:15hmm
01:13:20um
01:13:21okay
01:13:23then
01:13:24uh
01:13:29well
01:13:29like
01:13:30like I
01:13:31said
01:13:31your parents
01:13:32are probably
01:13:32going to
01:13:33have
01:13:33hang-ups
01:13:34there's
01:13:35really
01:13:35nothing
01:13:35that I
01:13:36can say
01:13:37other than
01:13:38accept it
01:13:38as an
01:13:39inevitability
01:13:39and that
01:13:40you're
01:13:40probably
01:13:41going to
01:13:42have to
01:13:42give them
01:13:42a few
01:13:43good
01:13:43whacks
01:13:43with a
01:13:43new
01:13:44with a
01:13:44rolled up
01:13:44newspaper
01:13:45metaphorically
01:13:45speaking
01:13:46but
01:13:48as I
01:13:50say to
01:13:50a lot
01:13:52of people
01:13:52who have
01:13:53difficulties
01:13:53with their
01:13:54parents
01:13:54is that
01:13:55when your
01:13:56parents don't
01:13:56like the
01:13:57decisions
01:13:57you've made
01:13:58they're going
01:13:58to try
01:13:59and they're
01:14:00going to
01:14:01push back
01:14:02in the hopes
01:14:03that you'll
01:14:04that you'll
01:14:04just
01:14:05you'll not
01:14:06want you'll
01:14:07not want it
01:14:07to turn into
01:14:08a confrontation
01:14:09and then you'll
01:14:09just let them
01:14:10go back to
01:14:10thinking everything's
01:14:11normal
01:14:11just don't let
01:14:12them
01:14:14okay
01:14:16well that
01:14:17that that
01:14:18actually is
01:14:19very good
01:14:20to know
01:14:22it's a very
01:14:24good way to
01:14:25look at it
01:14:26so thank you
01:14:26for that
01:14:26I do have
01:14:28one more
01:14:29thing
01:14:29if it's
01:14:31okay
01:14:32okay
01:14:33me and
01:14:37my friend
01:14:37are going
01:14:38to like
01:14:38do a
01:14:38thing
01:14:39together
01:14:40and by
01:14:41that I
01:14:42mean like
01:14:42a collab
01:14:42youtube
01:14:43channel
01:14:43thing
01:14:44but it's
01:14:47something
01:14:48it's a
01:14:48channel we
01:14:49used to
01:14:49have with
01:14:49a few
01:14:51of our
01:14:51friends
01:14:52and most
01:14:52of them
01:14:52have gone
01:14:53and moved
01:14:53on
01:14:53except for
01:14:54this friend
01:14:56I'm working
01:14:56with right
01:14:57now
01:14:57their ex
01:14:58who
01:14:58recently
01:14:59both of
01:15:00them broke
01:15:00up
01:15:01and both
01:15:02of them
01:15:02approached me
01:15:03separately
01:15:03said hey
01:15:04here's this
01:15:04here's that
01:15:05and I
01:15:05sided with
01:15:06the friend
01:15:08I'm gonna
01:15:09do this
01:15:10thing with
01:15:10pretty soon
01:15:11and the
01:15:11other one
01:15:12the ex
01:15:13went and
01:15:14basically
01:15:16went hey
01:15:16we broke
01:15:17up
01:15:17I wasn't
01:15:19I was being
01:15:19very toxic
01:15:20and
01:15:21so it's
01:15:23totally
01:15:23understandable
01:15:23and now
01:15:25that the
01:15:25ex has
01:15:26gone and
01:15:26just started
01:15:27trying to
01:15:27slander this
01:15:28other person
01:15:29so I
01:15:31I'm talking
01:15:32around the
01:15:32point
01:15:32basically
01:15:33how should
01:15:35I like
01:15:35anticipate
01:15:36and try
01:15:38and get
01:15:38ahead of
01:15:38like people
01:15:40being angry
01:15:41at something
01:15:42how do you
01:15:44anticipate and
01:15:45get ahead of
01:15:45people being
01:15:46angry about
01:15:47something I
01:15:47don't really
01:15:48think you
01:15:48can I
01:15:49think the
01:15:49more you
01:15:49try to
01:15:49avoid or
01:15:51get the
01:15:52jump on
01:15:53confrontation
01:15:53the more
01:15:54likely a
01:15:54confrontation
01:15:55is to
01:15:55blow up
01:15:56in your
01:15:56face
01:15:56okay
01:16:00it's the
01:16:02same thing
01:16:02with your
01:16:03parents
01:16:03except when
01:16:04you're when
01:16:04you're doing
01:16:05group group
01:16:06projects with
01:16:07people accept
01:16:08confrontation as
01:16:09an inevitability
01:16:09okay that is
01:16:13that thank you
01:16:15that's very
01:16:15enlightening
01:16:16I don't have
01:16:18much left but
01:16:19I did want to
01:16:20say I've been
01:16:21enjoying your
01:16:21content for a
01:16:22lot of years
01:16:23and your
01:16:25stuff is
01:16:25great
01:16:26thank you
01:16:28you're welcome
01:16:30if
01:16:30if I was to

01:16:38thanks
01:16:41you're welcome
01:16:43oh I do
01:16:46have one more
01:16:47thing and I
01:16:48the way you've
01:16:49said it everywhere
01:16:50else makes me
01:16:51believe I've been
01:16:51wrong is it
