00:24How will HMOs figure in terms of the balloting or consideration of progression of these schemes?
00:34Will they be discounted as an ordinary home with 2.4 cars when in fact they could have more due to the fact there's four adults, as there could be in any house living with vehicles?
00:46Yes, in terms of an HMO, currently the current process is that if it's one rateable household, then there will be one vote for that HMO.
01:00So regardless of how many individuals are living in that residence, they have one vote in relation to the ballots.
01:08In terms of workable schemes and how we consider sort of areas and streets, we don't necessarily work on the basis of how many vehicles are linked to a household.
01:21Whilst we do request that information, we look more in terms of how many parking spaces can we facilitate in that area to address each resident with 1.2 spaces.
01:34So we would work on the basis that it would be one permit for everyone who doesn't have off-street parking available to them.
01:44And then depending on the scale and the size of the area, then we allocate additional permits.
01:52But it's one permit per household in relation to those who don't have off-street parking.
