00:00Once upon a time, the smell of pickles reminded me of stinky morning breath, but now it makes me salad.
00:07We're making pickle tap.
00:08And we're going to make it a little bit healthier, so we're going to go in with Greek yogurt and we'll supplement the rest with sour cream.
00:14Before I add the pickles, we're going to do some light seasonings.
00:17It's story time.
00:18The reason I'm making this is because up until about a year ago even, I hated pickles.
00:23And not in the sense where it's like, oh, I'll pass.
00:25If it was on my plate, I had to get a new dish.
00:27I could not stand the taste.
00:28I could not stand the smell.
00:30And then one faded day, they became my best friends.
00:34So here we're just taking pickles.
00:36They can be cornichons.
00:37They can be bread and butter.
00:38Rough chop them.
00:39They don't have to be perfect.
00:40And it's not pickle dip without pickle juice.
00:43A little bit of lemon juice for freshness.
00:46It's pretty darn liquidy right now.
00:47So we're going to toss it in the fridge for at least four hours, hopefully overnight.
00:52Once you take it out of the fridge, I like to garnish it with some potato chip crumbles.
00:56And lemon dust.
00:58Now we get to go in and try it.
00:59Oh.
01:01I'm going to step aside, boat dip and pool dip.
01:06It's the summer for pickle dip.
