00:11The filmmaker and co-head of DC Studios recently opened up to the Sunday Times
00:16about the themes behind his new superhero blockbuster,
00:19especially given the current political climate in the United States
00:22and President Donald Trump's aggressive immigration policies.

00:58Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor centers on a younger Clark Kent
01:04who must reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing
01:08while also working as a reporter in Metropolis.
01:11I'm telling a story about a guy who is uniquely good
01:14and that feels needed now because there is a meanness that has emerged
01:17due to cultural figures being mean online.
