00:00Well, disruptions on the road, but hopefully no disruptions to your weekend plans.
00:05Rochelle, you did mention dust in the atmosphere, but please tell us there's no rain in your weekend forecast.
00:11We want to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
00:14Sorry, Vash, but that's a promise I just can't keep.
00:18Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. I'm Rochelle Edwards, and happy Friday, everyone.
00:22Here's what you need to know from tonight into Monday.
00:25We're going to have a mostly fair conditions tonight with partly cloudy interruptions.
00:30Tobago expects showers from early morning, which will gradually spread across to Trinidad as the day progresses.
00:37There is a low to medium chance of isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm activities.
00:42To answer your question, Vash, those showers I just mentioned will continue into tomorrow.
00:47But don't worry, I know it's bad launch season, so let's hope those showers subside by afternoon.
00:53It is important to remember that gusty winds and street flooding can occur in the event of heavy downpours.
00:59Tomorrow's maximum forecast temperatures are 31 degrees in both Trinidad and Tobago.
01:06There will also be an increase in Saharan dust in the atmosphere,
01:09so persons sensitive to these changes in air quality should be the necessary precautions.
01:14Heading over to our two-day forecast, Sunday's sunny and slightly hazy conditions will be accompanied by a few isolated showers.
01:23There is a low chance of thunderstorm activity favoring western areas of Trinidad during the afternoon.
01:30Maximum temperatures are coming in at 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 degrees in Tobago.
01:36And for Monday, expect similar conditions with isolated showers and a low chance of it becoming heavy or thundery,
01:43again favoring western areas of Trinidad during the afternoon period.
01:47Monday's temperatures are 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 over in Tobago.
01:53To the beachgoers and sea explorers, seas are moderate with waves of 1.5 meters,
01:58so 2 meters in open waters and below 1 meter in sheltered areas.
02:03And for the early birds out there, sun will rise at 5.48 and set at 6.32 in Trinidad.
02:10And in Tobago, sunrise is at 5.44 and sunset at 6.30.
02:15Now for your tide times.
02:17That's it for me.
02:28Enjoy your weekend and stay safe, stay dry, and stay tuned for more after this with Vash.
