00:00Anticipation was at its peak at Maniramjan Stadium as defending champs Napa Rima had the chance to capture top spot
00:06against fourth-placed St. Benedict's College.
00:09But up north, the equally anticipated clash between unbeaten leaders St. Mary's and Signal Hill, two points back, was watered
00:16down.
00:17We have some unfortunate news for you today. The game between St. Mary's College, top of the table, and the
00:24third-placed Signal Hill secondary has been called off due to a waterlogged outfield at the St. Mary's College home
00:32ground on Serpentine Road in St. Clair.
00:35However, the Napa's players, unaware of the happenings up north, was focused on finding the opener.
00:41Bus! Off the bar! A harmless-looking cross.
00:46And they were cartwheeling when they finally found the back of the net.
00:49Header, and it's a goal! So Napa Rima College, they take an early lead here, and that's number 23.
00:56And they took that narrow lead into the break after flashing just wide moments before.
01:01Just wide, what an effort!
01:04While chances were few in the second half, St. Benedict still remained a threat.
01:08The shot comes in from distance, and it's parried over the post. What an effort there by St. Benedict's!
01:14But Knapps kept probing for a second.
01:16So it falls to Richardson, and it's a shot!
01:20Got hold of it pretty nicely there, Richardson.
01:23Yet, one goal was all Knapps needed to return to the top.
01:27And there's the final whistle.
01:29So Napa Rima College, they're the new leaders of the SSFL.
01:33They move to 37 points. They move ahead of St. Mary's College.
01:38Terence Clark, 2-6 sport.
