00:15According to Delhi police, Ruchika's body was recovered from the master bedroom while

00:19a son lay lifeless in the adjoining bathroom.

00:21There were no signs of forced entry, no signs of struggle.

00:24But the apartment was locked from the outside, setting off alarm bells of a premeditated

00:28exit.

00:29They suddenly turned their focus to someone within the household.

00:32The family's domestic helped Mukesh, who had gone missing immediately after the murders.

00:36He was arrested the very next day, on July 3, and what followed was a cold-blooded confession.

00:40According to police, Mukesh claimed that Ruchika had yelled at him moments before the attack.

00:45In a fit of rage, he grabbed a sharp object and slit her throat.
