Bulandshahr, UP – Promising kabaddi player Brajesh Solanki tragically died from rabies after neglecting treatment for a dog bite. A resident of Farana village near Khurja, Brajesh was training for state-level competitions and aimed for Pro Kabaddi League selection.

In March, he rescued a puppy from a drain and was bitten on his finger. Considering it a minor wound, he did not take the rabies vaccine and continued with training. In late June, he developed numbness, chills, and paralysis. He was taken to hospitals in Aligarh, Mathura, and finally Delhi’s GTB Hospital, where doctors confirmed rabies. It was too late for treatment. He died on the way back home.

His sudden death has shocked the sports community and underlined the life-threatening danger of ignoring rabies after a dog bite.
