00:00After seven explosive weeks in court in the federal trial of music mogul, Sean Diddy Combs,
00:06prosecutors summed up their case by painting a chilling picture of Diddy
00:09as the head of a criminal enterprise built on power, violence and fear.
00:16Maureen Comey arguing Diddy, who's accused of crimes including sex trafficking and racketeering,
00:21believed he was untouchable, a god among men.
00:25Experts say convincing jurors on all the charges will be a challenge.
00:30I think it's pretty clear that the charge of transporting somebody across state lines
00:34in order to further prostitution is the government's easiest case.
00:38There's evidence that people were brought across state lines,
00:42that Mr. Combs paid money for flights, for hotels, made arrangements for meetings in hotels.
00:47The tougher charges are going to be the RICO racketeering charges and the sex trafficking charges.
00:53I think the government has a bit of an uphill battle proving those.
00:56That's really going to depend upon how credible they found the government's chief witnesses.
01:00Diddy's defence dismissed the prosecution's narrative,
01:04arguing the star's romantic relationships were messy, not criminal,
01:08calling them complicated love stories.
01:11His attorney even making light of the alleged freak-offs
01:14and the testimony of women who were in long-term relationships with Combs,
01:17arguing that Diddy was not the only man in America making homemade porn.
01:22But the government's key witness, Cassie Ventura, may have been the case's turning point.
01:28Cassie Ventura was very compelling.
01:31And what's even more compelling about her testimony is that it was corroborated by many, many people.
01:38And then you have his own assistants that testified.
01:41And they talked about the threatening nature of the enterprise,
01:45the threatening nature of working for Sean Combs.
01:49Twelve jurors now hold Diddy's fate in their hands.
01:52If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
