00:00I'm Stuart Knight of Cherry Slick limited. I'm James Eames of Loft Road.

00:05So tell me where we are and a little bit about the company.

00:09Loft Road is a patented storage solution that fits between the trusses of the loft.

00:14We cut the plasterboard out between the trusses, slide up an insulated casket and put a storage unit,

00:20whether it be a wardrobe, a TV unit is safe inside and then by remote control it comes down from the loft into the room underneath.

00:28We're an electromechanical assembly house that's here to assist Loft Road in the manufacture of their products and get them to market.

00:36Tell me, you're in the pop-up shop here in Waterlyville, tell me how the reaction's been like from customers and passers-by?

00:44Really good. What it's doing is actually showing people what it is because a lot of people don't know what it is at all.

00:50They're coming in, they're giving us some new ideas as well, so it's like just getting feedback from the customers

00:57and also getting our surveys to go out and get some work in.

01:02Tell me how this idea came about.

01:06It came about by looking in a new build site.

01:10We walked into a bedroom and I looked the way the house was laid out and it wasn't possible.

01:15You had to move all the beds into the corner if you wanted a wardrobe.

01:18So I just said I'd put the wardrobe in the loft and leave the showroom as it was.

01:23And that's how it came up.

01:24The next thing we have a worldwide patent, so we're globally patented.

01:30So tell me what the future holds for the business.

01:33The future, with Cherry Tech involved now, we're literally looking into all different types of storage solutions

01:41and producing apps with storage solutions as well.

01:44We've now gone and started with the Cherry Pie, what will be the collective of AI and residential property.

01:52So it absolutely covers all different angles.

01:55So anywhere from wardrobes, TV units, safes, gun cabinets, towel racks, airing cupboards.

02:01And it produces an efficient build as well.

02:05Lough Road answers one of the biggest problems in residential property with space.

02:10Also, we help the assisted living side of things immensely.

02:14We've set up a global recognition and we're looking to set up locally to help the community in economic growth.
