Dream Doors opens a new showroom in Dukes Walk, Waterlooville.

00:00Hi, I'm Vikas Grover. I'm the franchisee owner of Dream Doors, Portsmouth and Waterlooville branch.

00:07Brilliant. So tell me a little bit about the new showroom.

00:11So Dream Doors actually started in 1999 and it's a local company. It started from Ghostport.

00:17So it's already 25 years has passed. Now there are 95 plus franchisees all over the UK.

00:24So it's coming back home now. We used to have a showroom in the precinct in Waterlooville

00:30and there were showrooms in Ghostport and Portsmouth as well. But now we have only in Waterlooville.

00:37So, and you've moved to Dukes Walk area?

00:41Yeah, we moved to Dukes Walk. We like the area. It's free parking, three-row free parking for the customers.

00:48So there are nearly 185 parking slots out there. So customers can browse and spend time easily finding their dream kitchens.

00:57So tell me what the reaction's been like.

01:00It has been wonderful. Since we have opened, a lot of support from the community, a lot of people have walked in and it has been wonderful.

01:08So we are really thrilled.

01:10Any exciting plans for the future of Dream Doors?

01:14Yeah, we want to expand more to cover more areas to serve more customers.

01:20So we specialize in refurbishment of the kitchens.

01:26So most of the kitchens nowadays, if you're talking about numbers point of view,

01:31British Kitchen Foundation has released some figures this year.

01:36It says that £18,000 to £20,000, it costs an average kitchen.

01:40But if you do refurbishment, it can, price can come up to half.

01:47It's a family run business. It was running with my wife, Angelica.

01:53And also, if you see our rating on Checker Trade, a whole network of Dream Doors is nearly 9.8 or 9.98 in fact.

02:05And also we can do as little as customers want or we can do the whole kitchen as well.
