00:10After federal prosecutors completed six weeks of evidence and testimony backing up their
00:14indictment of Combs on Tuesday, the defendant told the judge that he will not be testifying
00:18in his own defense. Federal prosecutors rested their case on Tuesday afternoon after six weeks
00:23of testimony from Combs' ex-girlfriends, personal assistants, federal agents, and various members
00:29of his once-powerful media and music empire. The defense rested later in the afternoon
00:33without calling a single witness. When the judge asked Combs how he was and whether he would be
00:38testifying, he said, I'm doing great, Your Honor. I want to tell you thank you. You're doing an
00:42excellent job. Combs then told the judge that he had, quote, thoroughly discussed the pros and cons
00:47of testifying with his team of attorneys and ultimately decided against taking the stand.
00:51He added, that is my decision, Your Honor. That is solely my decision. I mean, it's my decision
00:56with my lawyers. My decision to make. I'm making it. On Tuesday, the defense asked the judge to toss
01:01out the case, arguing that the charges were not proven by the prosecutors. As of press time,
01:06the judge has not yet issued a decision. Combs has pleaded not guilty to five counts contained
01:10in an indictment, including sex trafficking and racketeering. If found guilty, he could potentially
