00:0036 hours ago we started on a fundraising journey and we didn't really know where we'd end up.

00:06There's been laughter, there's been tears and there's been a huge amount of every emotion in

00:11between but we've been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community and I'm really

00:17thrilled to be able to share that the Every Moment Council Bill has raised over £160,000

00:24for St Margaret's Hospice which is just totally awesome. It is because of you, our community of

00:32supporters, you've come out in your hundreds or thousands and you've done an incredible job.

00:42You've demonstrated the power of having conversations, spreading the words, sharing

00:48memories and really special moments of care and it's been a real privilege for us to be able to

00:52enable this. So the funds that you've raised in the last 36 hours are going to enable us to care for

01:01more people living with a life-limiting illness and hopefully being able to reach them earlier in

01:06their journey and what that really means is being able to help people live well for as long as possible

01:13and spending precious moments with the ones that they love and that's a really incredible thing

01:18that you've enabled us to be able to do. So we'd like to say an extra special thank you to our

01:25wonderful champions. You have galvanised all your friends, your family and your networks and we have

01:31received a domino of donations in lieu of your actions so thank you so much for taking the time.

01:36We appreciate that many of you have day jobs, you might be carers, you might have hobbies, you have all

01:41commitments but you've set time aside in your day across these two days to ask your friends and family to

01:47make donations so thank you. To those of you that have responded to those calls to action by your

01:53friends and family thank you so much for picking up the phone visiting our website or our charity extra

01:58page and making that donation we really really appreciate your support and we also want to say

02:03a very special thank you to our match funders who pledged £70,000 at the beginning of the appeal and

02:09that enabled us to double those donations. We're just incredibly grateful and just astonished at all your

02:15commitment so thank you. So over the next week I'm sure you can appreciate there's still lots

02:19for us to do lots of counting lots of collecting so we're going to make sure that we report back to

02:24you to let you know the actual figure at the end of next week but for now thank you please take a

02:30moment to celebrate with us because our success is your success and we honestly couldn't do it without

02:35you so thank you. Thank you.
