Glen Powell just landed his next gig and it's smokin'! Amazon MGM Studios has landed the actor to star in an untitled firefighter movie for director Ron Howard. The story focuses on two childhood friends who are now accomplished firefighters and face a deadly series of Texas blazes while navigating their relationship.

00:31this fall and the A24 thriller Huntington, which recently

00:34wrapped production.

00:35Additionally, Powell is in production on J.J. Abrams' next

00:38film for Warner Brothers and leads the Hulu series Chad Powers.

00:42In addition to all of this, Powell is also working with Judd

00:45Apatow on a Universal comedy about a country music star.

00:48Safe to say Powell is definitely on a hot streak.
