Protesters rally against Trump in Atlanta

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, June 14, to voice their opposition to US President Donald Trump and a military parade taking place in the nation’s capital.

The demonstration, held on Trump’s 79th birthday, was the largest show of dissent since his return to office in January. It coincided with a massive military parade in Washington, D.C., featuring thousands of troops, military vehicles, and aircraft in honor of the US Army’s 250th anniversary.

In Atlanta, protesters with the “No Cake for False Kings” campaign assembled on the 17th Street NW bridge in Downtown.

Protesters held signs and chanted as cars passed by, voicing concerns over immigration policy, human rights, and threats to democracy.
