00:01Treasury Secretary General Johan Mahmud Merikan says 5.4 million Malaysians from the B40 and M40 income groups stand to benefit from the expanded sales and service tax starting July 1st.
00:16Johan said the expected boost in revenue will allow the government to scale up its financial assistance to members of the B40 and M40 income groups such as the monthly Sumbangan Asas Rahmah.
00:30It is a part that was originally made by the President of the B40 in the Ucapan Belanjawan 2025.
