00:00So Sam Kennedy said yesterday that Raphael Devers and his glove are ready to go if needed.

00:08Is that kind of the current situation with Raffi?

00:15Yeah, I saw Sam make those comments, and I obviously can't speak for Sam.

00:21I don't know that we should take it precisely at its word, I think.

00:26You know, what Sam was probably getting at is there's been a lot of attention to, you know,

00:35interaction between Raffi and the median Raffi and me.

00:39But at the end of the day, when push comes to shove, Raffi is usually in the right place at the right time

00:44and finding a way to help the team.

00:45Right now it's in the middle of the lineup, and, you know, if there continues to be a need somewhere else,

00:51then we'll explore that in due time.

00:53Okay, so what you're saying is Sam doesn't know what he's talking about.

00:58I did not say that.

01:02So if you were to go to him and say, hey, Raffi, we need you tonight over on first base,

01:07then you feel like he would be available and ready to go.

01:13I do not say that either.

01:15What I am saying is these things tend to blow up, then they tend to blow over.

01:23And, you know, I think we saw it coming out of spring training.

01:28You know, Raffi is incredibly competitive, and he's also emotional,

01:32but he cares deeply about the team and deeply about winning.

01:35And he ends up, you know, doing the right thing.

01:38And that's all we can ask.

01:39And right now the right thing is for him to continue to anchor the lineup and help us put runs on the board.

01:45Any update timeline-wise on Alex Bregman?

01:50I don't think it would be fair to say, hey, this is when we expect him to be back.

01:55But it does seem as though he's making real progress.

02:00And I think that there is a chance that he'd be able to cut the timeline down from what was initially anticipated,

02:07exactly what that looks like.

02:08I don't know.

02:08But he seems to be really, really excited about the progress that he's making.

02:12And this is similar to a quad injury that he had a few years ago in Houston.

02:16And he feels like he's, you know, ahead of the timeline relative to that return.

02:22Well, Yankees in town this weekend and Garrett Crochet tomorrow night.

02:28And so it should be really interesting.
