00:00A fleet of colourfully decorated taxis made their way through the streets of the Scottish
00:04capital today as the Edinburgh Taxi Outing returned for its 77th year.
00:09The event sees kind-hearted taxi drivers treat children with special needs, life-limiting
00:13conditions and terminal illnesses to an unforgettable experience as they get to sit up front with
00:18the drivers and soak passers-by with water guns. And as you can see, I was one of them.
00:25But it wasn't just those watching that were at risk of getting soaked.
00:28Hundreds stood along the route to watch, some armed with water guns, balloons and
00:32even buckets filled with water. The taxis were dressed to impress with balloons, streamers
00:38and various props from gingerbread houses and unicorns to Spider-Man decorations.
00:43Prizes were awarded in the morning for Best Float Taxi, Best Balloon Taxi, Best Fancy Dress
00:49Driver and Best Fancy Dress Child. The parade then set off from the meeting point at Edinburgh Zoo
00:54at 10am, with a police escort leading it through the city centre, along Prince's Street, up
00:58the mound and down the Royal Mile.
01:01The families and taxi drivers then headed out to Portobello and Joppa, before stopping for
01:06a well-deserved ice cream in Musselburgh. They then went on to their final destination where
01:10they enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food and games.
01:12They then went on to their final destination where they enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food
01:13and games.
01:15They went on to their fans, food and games.
01:16Then, they went on to their final destination where they attended the scene and they were
01:17then given up on their final destination where they went on to the side of the house.
01:18The pass0000s would be on to their start destination where they would not go.
01:19So, if you are a city councilman that came up on the front desk and they were
01:22real on the whole day.
01:23When it was a city councilman, it was the city councilman.
01:25They decided to make up on the time and they had a lot of goodwill.
01:26Once a city councilman, they reported a lot of goodwill that went on the
01:27house to open the house.
01:28Alright, if you got a city councilman, they were moving on to their own
01:30ask.
01:31Please come up on the side.
01:32To be able to have the town of a city councilman, you can see the town and know
