00:00This is the drink of the summer. I am going ahead and calling it. Now we're no stranger to a spritz. These things have been around for a minute. They usually involve Aperol, which is like a bitter aperitif, some form of sparkling wine. I'm not a huge Prosecco fan, but you know what I do love? Cava, the Spanish version of sparkling wine, champagne, some type of citrus. For this specific recipe, I'm going to recommend lemon. All you would need would be a little bit of soda, but why use regular soda when you could use cheer wine?
00:29It's got a little bit of sweetness to balance it all out. Now I do love a bitter drink, but for some of y'all out there, it's a little bit off-putting. And I would say your gateway to like these bitter spritzes is perhaps a little bit of sweetness. Top it with a cocktail cherry, and it is certainly not a spritz without a straw. This goes down easy. Might be a little bit dangerous, if you know what I mean. Cheers, y'all.
