00:00What is it like to be here and finally be able to celebrate this show?
00:03I love this night. It's like the biggest celebration of theater and the whole community surrounding that.
00:10And it's such an honor to have a show that's a part of this season's theater scene.
00:15And I don't know, we're just going to soak it all in every minute of it.
00:19Yeah, I feel like I'm in like the clouds somewhere.
00:22It feels so overwhelmingly joyous and also like every single show has something inspiring to me personally.
00:31So I just feel like grateful for the whole thing.
00:34A lot of people have called this such a thrilling season for Broadway.
00:37Why do you think that is?
00:39To me, it's the range of shows in one season.
00:44I mean, if you compare all five musicals that are nominated, they're so different from one another.
00:50And the same goes for the plays and all the performances as well.
00:54And so I love to see this medium stretched to that kind of range.
01:00And I'm so proud that we got to be a part of that too.
01:04Yeah, there are so many performers telling authentic stories on the stage.
01:07And that means that the audiences are all being shared something completely different
01:12and something for them to connect to themselves.
01:15So to be a part of that feels extra special. Thank you.
01:18Well, for a lot of these guys, it's eight shows a week.
01:21The performances, you have to bring that energy at 100.
01:25For both of yourselves, do you have a pre- or post-performance ritual to kind of either reset or gear up?
01:34I'd say a power nap, like a 10-minute power nap.
01:38It makes you think that you slept for a long time, but you didn't.
01:40And you just kind of almost have this like start fresh feeling.
01:43Set yourself to zero and just freshness to go.
01:47Yeah, but 10 minutes, not too much more.
01:52I love that.
01:53Is there a show outside of your own, of course, that you've been obsessed with this Broadway season?
01:59John Proctor is the villain.
02:02I'm still thinking.
02:03She wrote it, yeah.
02:05We're talking about your show.
02:07We're talking about your show.
02:08That's the one show that we're calling out.
02:11I can't stop thinking about it.
02:12Tell us why.
02:13I feel like it's something very relevant to us today, told by youth, told by young people who fully believe in what they're sharing.
02:24And it's creative, and it's theatrical, and at the same time truthful and honest.
02:31And, yeah, I felt the whole range of emotions while I watched it.
02:34And I can't get it out of my head.
02:35And I can't get it out of my head.
02:44And I can't get it out of my head.
02:46But I'm not.
02:47I can't get it out of my head.
02:47I think it's just so exciting.
02:48I feel I need to be able to get it out of my head.
02:51I can't get it out of my head.
02:52I can't get it out.
