00:04Abrego Garcia has landed in the United States to face justice.

00:09On May 21st, a grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee returned a sealed indictment

00:15charging Abrego Garcia with alien smuggling and conspiracy to commit alien smuggling

00:22in violation of Title 8 U.S.C. 1324.

00:25We want to thank President Bukele for agreeing to return Abrego Garcia to the United States.

00:33Our government presented El Salvador with an arrest warrant, and they agreed to return

00:39him to our country.

00:41We're grateful to President Bukele for agreeing to return him to our country to face these

00:46very serious charges.

00:48This is what American justice looks like.

00:51Upon completion of his sentence, we anticipate he will be returned to his home country of

00:58El Salvador.

00:59The grand jury found that over the past nine years, Abrego Garcia has played a significant

01:06role in an alien smuggling ring.

01:11They found this was his full-time job, not a contractor.

01:17He was a smuggler of humans, and children, and women.

01:23He made over a hundred trips, the grand jury found, smuggling people throughout our country.
