00:47My name is Esna Chinyani. I'm a Malarian studying in Kenya.
00:53I started school here in May 2023.
00:57In June, I called home, like I was inquiring how things are going at home and everything like that.
01:02But then I was sad to be told that, like, my parents were not able to pay bills
01:10and that my brother had stopped going to school.
01:14Being in another country and not be able to help my parents was difficult like that.
01:19So I sent a prayer request to God's Heart TV in June and I was able to join the interactive prayer session in July.
01:29And then when I joined the interactive prayer session in September, when I called home and asked how things were,
01:41I was glad when they told me that they were able to pay would abuse in that my little brother had started going back to school.
01:48And I was happy about that.
01:51And also during that time that I sent a prayer request, it was very difficult for me to focus on my studies.
01:58Because it was my first semester studying here, studying school here.
02:02So I was sad.
02:04I couldn't concentrate.
02:05I was just crying like that.
02:06So I also mentioned in my request that I went to academic excellence.
02:13When the results of that semester came out, I got good grades and I was on the dean's list.
02:22This is a document that I have from my school as a letter of recommendation.
02:27It shows that I was entitled to the inclusion on the dean's list, which recognizes students who are demonstrating superior achievement in their academic performance.
02:40And I thank God for that.
02:42And also Brother Chris also mentioned that we should work as if everything depends on us and pray as if everything depends on God.
02:50So I work hard and I pray every time I read my Bible.
02:55So it's God's intervention.
02:56And my other testimony is that last year in 2024, there is a project called the Solution Project in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation.
03:07My friends and I had applied for that project.
03:10We applied in August.
03:12And on 7th September, I was watching the interactive prayer session with Brother Chris on YouTube.
03:18And while he was playing, he said that we shouldn't be only playing for changes in our communities and countries,
03:25but we should pray that God should use us as the instruments of change in our communities and countries.
03:32I was encouraged when he said that.
03:34And I sent a prayer request to God's Heart TV.
03:37And I was invited for the October 2024 interactive prayer session.
03:42I joined and by the grace of God, like the results of the project came out and our team was shortlisted to go for semifinals.
03:51So I shared the news with God's Heart TV.
03:54They invited me for another interactive prayer session in November and I joined.
03:59So I was worried, like we are not going to proceed to the final stage.
04:03But by the grace of God, when we were presenting, everything was okay.
04:08And by the grace of God, we proceeded to the finals.
04:11During the finals, like we had one of the toughest judge.
04:15When we knew that he was going to be our judge on that day, we were so afraid.
04:20We were like, oh my God, we are not going to proceed this.
04:23We are not going to pass.
04:25But by the grace of God, we presented our project so well.
04:29And yeah, we passed like that.
04:31As the Bible says in Ephesians 3 verse 20, that God is able to do exceedingly in the abundantly above all that we can ever think of or imagine.
04:40Our team was, you know, like it's not a funding, our project could a funding of $9,000 US dollars, far from the $4,000 from $5,000 US dollars.
04:50As a master at Foundation Square, I'm required to do two internships.
04:54So I started applying in 2024 when I was here, like applying to different places and stuff.
05:00But then nothing happened, like no feedback.
05:04I'll just apply and my email will not be attended to.
05:07I sent a prayer request to God's Heart TV.
05:10And then I joined the interactive prayer session in the first week of February, 2025.
05:15And then we were prayed for.
05:16And by the grace of God, it was just like weeks after the interactive prayer session.
05:21I looked and on the same day I was accepted.
05:24My only advice is that we should first seek the kingdom of God.
05:30Just as Prophet D.B. Joshua used to say, the first place we are to prosper is in our spiritual lives.
05:35So I think once we take care of our spiritual lives, God is going to take care of everything that we need.
05:41So we should first seek his kingdom and all the other things will fall in line.
