01:34trying to not do all the things that other people are doing yet other people who just don't care who

01:47relationship with god spiritual life and i just said to myself i'm just going to live the way i like
01:52i'm going to start doing whatever i see other people doing and uh i mean what's the point and that's

01:59how my situation at that time went from bad to worse it started with pornography i ventured into
02:09masturbation i started fornicating i also started drinking alcohol i became just a very reckless
02:19deceitful and cunning person i went from someone that was doing well in business to now somebody that was
02:25looking for a job and uh things were so hard for me that i had to accept a job as
02:31a security guard
02:32you know at that time and uh working as a security guard i just continued living that same life that
02:39i was living you know i i was just so discouraged you know and uh what happened was that a
02:47time came
02:48whereby the place where i was working criminals attacked that place and they rocked the place
02:56overnight and in the morning i and another colleague that were guarding the place were falsely accused we
03:03were taken to the station i thought we were just being taken for questioning and to my greatest
03:08surprise i was detained together with my colleague you know we're being accused of being the people
03:14that orchestrated the whole robbery and everything i thought to myself this is this is not happening
03:20you know i was in such a shock because i never in my life thought that such a thing could
03:25happen to
03:25me that i could even find myself in a place like a prison cell and i found myself there and
03:32the moment
03:32i entered the cell i started to think about god you know i started to realize because my heart was
03:38telling me at that time that look you left god and your life has just been going downhill ever since
03:44you know things have just been going so bad for you and i just started to regret and i knew
03:52that i was
03:52being falsely accused but at the same time something was telling me that this is because of the sinful
03:57life that you've been living that's me uh when i was put in the cell i was in such a
04:03shock and i spent
04:04i'll say two weeks without eating i didn't feel hungry my body was in my mind my psychology and
04:12everything was just in such a shock i couldn't believe that that was happening to me i was praying
04:18in my heart that god please save me and i and i believe that god will save me so that's
04:22why i just
04:22gave the phone to one of the people that was there with me to say take this picture of me
04:26because i just believe that one day i will be free from this situation and i and i'm going to
04:32share a testimony so that's how that picture was taken as you can imagine after some time despite
04:41everything being done by my employer by friends and family to get me released on bail they denied me
04:49bail they just said no you we're gonna remind you and they transferred me to the prison which had a
04:55capacity of i'd say a thousand people but had more than ten thousand people i'd say so the conditions
05:03were so so so bad i was living in unsanitary conditions and from there i'll go to court i decided
05:11while i was in prison that i need to return to god because i knew only god can get me
05:16out of that
05:16situation and i made a promise to god while i was in prison that god if you set me free
05:23from this
05:24situation i will dedicate my life to you and i'm never going to go back to sin again that was
05:30the
05:30promise i made and indeed god came through for me when i went to court the prosecutor who was supposed
05:38to be accusing me and my colleague instead started defending us and saying that i find that these two
05:48did not do anything wrong they are not guilty and advising the judge to release us which was just a
05:57miracle you know to the point where people were even clapping in court because they hadn't seen that
06:02and the judge had to like say no we don't clap in court because it was just
06:08it happened in such a miraculous way and i knew that this was god and that's how we were released
06:13unconditionally there was no conviction and by by the time i was being released i'd spent almost three
06:20months so i went there late february 2022 and i'd been released on the 10th of may 2022 and when
06:28i came
06:29out i went to stay with a friend because uh during this time i i just i lost my my
06:36my my apartment the
06:38friend that i was staying with told me hey you just got released you know what let's go to the
06:43club and
06:44celebrate let's go have a drink let's let's celebrate the fact that you've been released and i and i just
06:50went with him you know and my conscience was telling me that remember the promise you made to god what
06:56are
06:56you doing now but i just did whatever you know and i just went to the club i drank before
07:03getting out of
07:04prison i developed an illness after a week before i got released i developed scrotal eczema on on my
07:12scrotum so the symptoms i was experiencing was itchiness and a burning sensation but it was still
07:21manageable you know i could still walk but i could sense that there was something there but after that
07:26night when i went to the club and i came back the symptoms just kept getting worse and worse worse
07:32and worse to the point where i was literally bedridden i was constantly scratching because i
07:41couldn't sit still i couldn't stand still i couldn't even walk because of the scratching i had sores
07:48all over my scrotum and skin was peeling off i was just literally just lying down all day all night
07:55and i couldn't even sleep because of the itchiness and the pain and uh my heart was just telling me
07:59that everything that is happening to you is for you to repent you need to repent i just made the
08:06decision at that time that i need to give my life to god now is the time it's now and
08:10ever by the
08:11grace of god as i prayed along with brother chris the urge because at some point i couldn't control
08:17myself when it came to the last you know last pornography masturbation fornication i couldn't control
08:23myself but when i was praying with brother chris the urge to do all these things suddenly just left
08:28me you know i did i just stopped by the grace of god the medication before when i was applying
08:35wasn't wasn't working at all i now was applying medication and seeing some improvement
08:41to the point where uh the source started healing slowly but surely it got to a point where i was
08:48no
08:48longer bed reading and i could now move about freely the medication that i was applying this is it right
08:55here it's a anti-fungal cream it's for eczema you know anti-fungal antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
09:06so i was applying that that it started to cause the symptoms to subside to a point whereby i could
09:14finally
09:14start moving around freely but one thing that kept happening was that the symptoms would go away but
09:22after some time it will still come back but each time it will come back it will be reminding me
09:29of how
09:29much i need god it was serving as a check you know it kept checking me and making sure that
09:37you know i just
09:38keep my focus on the fact that i need god without god i i'm just gonna you know the situation
09:45is going
09:46to get out of control it really just persisted you know the symptoms will go and will come back until
09:53january on the 3rd of january 2026 i was privileged to join the interactive prayer with brother chris on
10:03youtube i watched the youtube live i joined and uh before joining the symptoms of this scrotum
10:12exam had reappeared again on the day that i was even to join the interactive prayer i had a fever
10:18the fever almost caused me not to join but i was like no i have to join probably this fever
10:25is a way to stop me from joining and so i joined and i prayed along with brother chris

10:53immediately after the prayer the fever had had gone and i just believed in my heart that

11:14like okay let me wait and see because normally when it goes away after some time it comes back
11:20but uh it has it hasn't returned ever since by the grace of god and i've been healed completely

12:21that that is the only way that we can grow and also overcome our situations faster the more we try

12:28look for shortcuts out of it the more the situation will keep getting worse and things just get out of
12:36control so we should always see our situation as a way of god almighty correcting us and building our character
